Socioeconomic conditions of the family in supporting the distance learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic

The impact of Covid-19 does not only occur in the health sector, but also on other sectors such as social, economic, environmental and even geopolitical and including the education sector. Family socioeconomic conditions have an important role in distance learning process which is carried out during a pandemic so that this research aims toanalyze the family's economic condition of the distance learning process (PJJ) during the Covid-19 pandemic in Cibodas Jonggol Village, West Java. This type of research is quantitative research with a survey approach. The research sample from this study was a family that had family members who were still attending elementary school in Cibodas Village with a total sample of 82 respondents. The research instrument used is an interview with data analysis using descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the socioeconomic conditions of families in the Cibodas Jonggol Village area showed that there were still many who were at a very poor and poor level so that there was an inability to fulfill supporting facilities and infrastructure to carry out PJJ for families.

The usual learning activities have been affected during the Covid019. Research has explored the growing practices of the informal modes of teachinglearning. The current virtual teaching-learning practices were unfriendly among local pupils but due to the obligation of the Covid019 pandemic, it has been practiced based on locally available resources. Lack of familiarity with virtual learning, guidance, and weak socioeconomic conditions of parents, virtual learning is going to be complicated, especially in oppressed communities in Gorkha. Research has tried to find out what was the major learning practices during the pandemic.Explain the schooling, contribution of teachers, and local initiations into the teaching-learning process & explore the socioeconomic condition of parents. Primary information was collected from observation of students, parents, and teachers' engagement, and the narratives of the informants contribute to primary information collection. The key informant interviews, open-ended question-answer, and focal groups discussion-based qualitative method were applied to qualitative data interpretation, and multiple regression was applied to quantitative data interpretation. The parents' roles, the dependent and independent socioeconomic roles were also interpreted during the informal learning explanation of the study.The virtual classes were too hard to operationalize with lower accessibility of smart gadgets and lower familiarity. Local teachers and parents facing hard to accept smart gadgets-based instruction, teaching methods, and virtual learning. Further virtual base instruction was being complex during the pandemic. Need to scale up socioeconomic conditions of parents, adding subsidy or social protection provision in education can make a difference in education practices during the pandemic.

E-LEARNING IN SCHOOLS DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN RURAL AREAS

Online learning or e-learning has become an integral part of education due to covid-19 pandemic. But India's decision of shifting education to online mode is questionable taking into consideration the technological and manpower preparedness of the nation in rural areas. The present paper is designed to study the effectiveness and challenges of e-learning in rural areas during the covid-19 pandemic. Descriptive survey method is adopted for the study. Self-designed questionnaire is used for collection of data. The study is conducted on 50 government high schools of Baksa district of the state of Assam in India. The findings of the study reveal that e-learning is a huge challenge for rural schools with lack of e-learning resources, skilled ICT teachers, and so on.

A STUDY ON THE INFLUENCING FACTORS OF ONLINE CLASSES DURING COVID-19 ON PARENTS AND SCHOOL GOING CHILDREN IN HYDERABAD

This paper is an attempt to examine the influencing factors and behavior of parents and children in relation with online classes after Outbreak of Covid -19 Pandemic in Hyderabad city collected through Google forms among a sample size of 100 parents. The paper used exploratory Factor Analysis to examine the factor structure. The online classes influencing factors affecting children and parents after Outbreak of Covid -19 Pandemichas been answered by parents by identifying 25 items on Likerts scale, which has been captured by conducting exploratory factor analysis. Principal Component Analysis using SPSS version 16 has been utilized to verify the challenges faced by children and parents in parent’s perspective. The present study helps in understanding the problems faced by children and parents during online classes after the outbreak of Covid -19. The Statistical analysis shows that children and parents are facing issues with online classes and it is the feel of parents that their kids are prone to face the dangers of internet exposurecaused due to online classes and they feel that their kids are more attentive during In class learning instead of online classes and the results of the study indicates that school going children believe In class learning in comparison to online learning.

Clustering of Learning Media User Data During Covid-19 Pandemic Using K-Means Method Based on Multicultural Culture in Indonesia

The Impact of Learning Loss due to Family Income Factors on Students' Achievement during the COVID-19 Pandemic

The purpose of this study is to examine online learning during the pandemic period from the learner's economic standpoint. Seeing how far family income influences student learning achievement from the perspective of mastering English. The data is derived from English academic achievement and a questionnaire focusing on students' economic situations, and it is analyzed using the SPSS version 23 application. After being determined to be homogeneous and normally distributed, the data was collected and analyzed to test the hypothesis using R Square and ANOVA techniques. A Comprehensive Survey-based Study on Pre and Post COVID-19 Impact Using Statistical Design on School Students in Urban Areas of Chennai

Aim: The aim of our study was to assay pre and post covid-19 impact on school students in Chennai and their psychological impact of online learning on them. Material and methods: 500 school students were surveyed for their Post COVID and Pre COVID experience in their academic life. We calculated samples by using statistical packages for social science (SPSS). Result: The study highlights students performed and enjoyed organized learning experience in the pre COVID-19 time to post COVID lockdown. Conclusion: Although the most data were statistically insignificant (P>0.05), based on the number of responses for given conditions in the survey, we were able to infer that post COVID-19 was more stressful and had a greater impact on school students (Chi square, Correlation).

At the beginning of year 2020 and ending of December 2019 an outbreak of a novel Corona virus that is COVID-19 find out in Wuhan City (China). It was propagating fast in few months in all over countries. In this situation Government implemented various phase of lockdown in the country. Very bad impact happened to lockdown on educational institutions, schools and colleges and exams. They could not start their academic year at right time. Maharashtra Government declared their decision on all education departments to start an academic schedule in online mode. Due to this all student in rural areas in Nandurbar district (Maharashtra state, India) are facing unexpected challenges to online learn during the period of lockdown.
