Social studies education aims to develop a person's ability to use reasoning in making decisions for every reasoning encountered in everyday life. When researchers conducted observations and interviews, researchers discovered the fact that the learning outcomes obtained were less than satisfactory or that many students did not reach the Minimum Completeness Criteria or KKM. The Minimum Completeness Criteria for social studies subjects is 75. This can be seen in the final semester exam for the 2020/2021 Academic Year. Semester exam results for Class IV-A Social Sciences subjects of 27 students only 8 students completed, 19 students did not complete. Meanwhile, in class IV-B, out of 27 students, only 12 students completed it, 15 other students did not complete it. Overall, we see that 20 students completed at a rate of 37%, while 34 learners didn't finish at rate of 63%. This is caused by the most fundamental problem. Development of Motion Graphic Animation Video in Elementary School

This study aims to develop a learning media product in the form of a motion graphics animated video for elementary school students in Sukoharjo. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) research type. The media development model used is the ASSURE development model. Research subjects involved in this research are teachers and 5th-grade elementary school students in Sukoharjo District. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, documentation studies, and interviews. There are several research results that have been conducted. Firstly, based on preliminary study result, the teaching practice is done using the lecture method and simple props. Secondly, the current learning activities are still not effective and teacher-centred. Thirdly, student learning outcomes have not reached the Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM). The last, a prototype of learning media in the form of a motion graphic animation video for elementary school students has been produced and been tested for media validation by media experts and subject matter experts, so is ready to be field-tested and implemented, with the aim of knowing the effectiveness of learning media that has been produced based on the preliminary study.

This study aims to develop tangram media for elementary students in teaching social studies. The purpose of developing tangram media is so that students can develop their creativity in designing various forms of houses and traditional dances in Indonesia. This study describes scientific learning that should be used in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. In this study, the authors used the ADDIE model. Data analysis using questionnaires. The results of the development have been validated by the content/material expert getting a percentage of 87.7% and media experts 82.3%. The results of peer evaluations of the content/material get a design percentage of 95.3% and the content/material obtained is a percentage of 91.6% while the response results of small group students get a percentage of 85.4 and classic 83.8%. The results show that the use of tangram media is resulted in proper product development and well used by students in learning activities.

In material social problems, students have difficulty digesting and identifying social problems in their surrounding environment. One alternative so that learning can take place efficiently and easily understood is to use learning video media. The subjects of this study were all fourth grade students of Public Elementary School (SDN) 135911 Tanjungbalai. The result shows that the development of learning video media was validated by 3 experts namely material experts, linguists and media experts. Appraisal by material experts obtained a value with a very good category (93%), the assessment by linguists obtained a value with a very good category (92.22%) and the assessment by media experts obtained a value with a good category (87.37%). A total of 9 students (45%) gave a very good assessment of the learning videos developed and as many as 11 students (55%) gave a good assessment of the learning videos developed and the learning video media were considered to be feasible to be developed.
Animation-Based Learning Media for Thematic Learning of Elementary School Students

This study aims to determine the feasibility of learning media products based on animation for fourth grade elementary school students, namely thematic learning with the theme "The Beauty of Diversity in My Country" (the sub-theme of the diversity of ethnic groups and religions in my country). Using the research and development (RD (2) the thematic expert gave a score of 4.2 (good); and (3) classroom teachers with an average score of 4.9 (very good). At the individual trial stage an average value of 4.0 (good) was obtained, the small group trial obtained an average value of 4.2 (very good), while in large group trial an average value of 4.1 (good) was obtained. This article aims to explain the revision and validation of instructional media designed in order to generate an interactive multimedia-based Indonesian language learning media that contain character education for grade V elementary school students in order to implementation of Curriculum 2013. This research is a development research with a 4-D model consisting of four steps that is define, design, development, and dissemination. This article is written based on the development stage. The data collection is done by recording the process and the result of the revision and the validation questionnaire. For process data and revision result used content analysis technique while for expert validation used simple statistic. Based on the research found the following things. First, the product is revised based on respondents' input on the validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests and analysis of the Curriculum 2013. Improvements are made to the theme so that it complies with the Curriculum 2013 revised 2017. In addition, the media display is also improved so it is simpler but functional. Secondly, based on the validation of the revision product, it is known that this interactive multimedia-based learning media are validly seen from two aspects, namely the language aspect and the display aspect. On the aspect of the display obtained a score of 4.50 while the language aspect obtained a score of 4.33, so the average of both aspects is 4.42 (categorized valid). From both of these considerations, it was concluded that well designed mediums were used in learning activities that they were feasible to be tested on a large scale.
Motion Graphic Animation Video as Alternative Learning Media

Lack of students’ attention and interest to learn influence the learning process within the class. Thus, their learning achievement decreased. This study aims at designing a motion graphic, video animation learning media in Indonesian history subject. This study uses research and development method based on the modified research model developed by Borg and Gall with five stages model namely, needs analysis, media design, product development, evaluation and product trial, and final product. This study reveals that the average pretest score before the implementation of the learning media is 57.60, whereas the average posttest score after the motion graphic, animation video learning media implementation is 79.20. The fitness of the media feedback from the media experts’ score is 88% with very appropriate criteria. The development goal this research is to produce an interactive multimedia on the theme of learning the history of Indonesian civilization which is valid, practical, effective, and attractive. This research is a research development by using a development model of Borg and Gall which has been modified. Development model consists of 8 steps: (1) Research and data collection, (2) Planning, (3) Development of draft product, (4) The early field tests, (5) Revise the test results, (6) field tests, (7) Completion of the product field test results, (8) Final Product. The instruments used in this research are a validation questionnaire, test questionnaire, interview, and evaluation test. Preliminary field testing results, the product gets a score of 4.6 which is included in the practicality of practical criteria and got a score of 4.6, including the attractiveness of the interesting criteria. Based on the main field testing, theproduct get a score of practicality 4.5 which is included in the criteria of attractiveness of the practical and get a score of 4.2 which is included in the criteria of interest, as well as get a score of 84.7 Effectiveness included in the criteria effectively. Overall analysis of data from the validation sheet materials experts, media experts, and users of this product is getting an average score of 4.1 which is included in the valid criteria with minor revisions.
