The aim of the study was to investigate customer satisfaction's mediation role in the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty within Ghana's telecommunication sector. The report followed an approach to quantitative analysis and questionnaires to collect data from 105 respondents. The statistical analysis was performed using descriptive methods and inferential statistical techniques in IBM SPSS. The mediation analysis was made using Hayes' PROCESS macro model 4. Results of the analysis showed that quality of service is a substantially positive indicator of customer loyalty. It was also evident that Service Quality had a significant and positive influence on customer satisfaction. The direction between the mediator (Customer Satisfaction) and Customer Loyalty was positive but not significant. Again, it became evident that customer satisfaction partially balances the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty. It was evident that telecommuni...

Understanding customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in banking remains critical as banks strive to attain high performance standards to justify their existence. The aim of this paper, therefore, was to determine the mediating role of customer satisfaction between its antecedent, service quality and its consequent, customer loyalty. Quantitative research method was employed to generate 850 usable questionnaires through systematic random sampling. A mediation effect investigation was done, using regression analysis to establish the interrelationships between the three study constructs. Overall, the study empirically tested and established interrelationships between the three variables in Ghana's retail banking industry with satisfaction emerging as a strong mediator variable. Results of the study also revealed a positive and significant mediating role of customer satisfaction between service quality and customer loyalty. There were positive and significant relationships between service quality and customer satisfaction and between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The positive relationship between service quality and customer loyalty was insignificant. It is, therefore, concluded that, there is the need for banks to improve service quality at all levels, as the benefits to be derived are enormous, impacting strongly on customer satisfaction and weakly on customer loyalty.
Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction: Empirical Evidence from the Ghanaian Public Service
European Journal of Business and Management, 2014
The satisfaction of human need is an important objective organizations strive to achieve. The present study sought to examine service quality and customer satisfaction in the Ghanaian public service. Using correlational research design and a purely quantitative research approach, the researcher collected data from 304 participants using questionnaire. The hypotheses were tested using Pearson product-moment correlation test. The result showed that service quality significantly and positively related with customer satisfaction. In addition, customer perception and expectation significantly and positively related with customer satisfaction. The implications of the findings have been presented.
Service Quality's Effect on Satisfaction, Attitude and Behavior
This study aims to test and describe empirically the effect of service quality on loyal behavior both directly and trough satisfaction and loyal attitude as mediator. The study also aims to discover the direct effect of satisfaction on loyal attitude and indirect effect trough loyal attitude as mediator. The study used Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis technique, with the samples of 105 respondents. The respondents are limited to the customers who pick up their car after the Body Repair service is completed. The results of the study show that service quality does not directly affect loyal behavior. Similarly, loyal attitude does not mediate the effect of service quality on loyal behavior. However, an improved service quality is followed by an improved satisfaction, which in turn will result in a better loyal behavior. Likewise, satisfaction indirectly affects loyal behavior with loyal attitude as the mediator. Finally, satisfaction holds significant role for the customer to form a loyal behavior.
Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty: A Test of Mediation
The present research was conducted in a bank in Tehran, Iran, in 2009Iran, in /2010. This report is the outcome of a field research, which aimed to determine the quality of services offered by Sepah Bank, and also to study the relationship between the service quality, satisfaction and loyalty. In this research, the service quality standard model has been used for evaluation of service quality, model with some revision was used for evaluating the loyalty, and the instrument offered by was used for evaluation of customer satisfaction. The focus of this research is a Sepah Bank branch around Fatemi St., Tehran, Iran, and 147 customers of this bank were sampled. The results of this research show that in all aspects, customers' expectation, are higher than their perceptions of the Bank's operation, and in fact the quality of offered services is low. Besides, this research findings show that the customer satisfaction plays the role of a mediator in the effects of service quality on service loyalty. These findings are further explored.

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality factors, service quality on customer loyalty with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The study used primary data obtained directly from data sources collected specifically and directly related to the problem under study as many as 160 respondents The scale used using the Likert scale. In this research, the data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The data analysis method used is quantitative, namely validity test, reliability test, R square test, F square test, Q square test, Fit Model Test, VIF inner model, correlation analysis between dimensions, and hypothesis testing. The results show that Service Quality mediates to Customer Loyalty, Service Quality mediates to Customer Loyalty, Service Quality mediates to Customer Satisfaction, Service Quality mediates to Customer Satisfaction, and Customer Satisfaction mediates to Customer Loyalty. Service quality is the variable that has the greatest influence on customer loyalty at PT Bhum Mulia Prima (RCL Group).

The objective of this study is to analyze the relationship of service quality on agents’ satisfaction, service quality on agents’ loyalty, and satisfaction on loyalty when they used the insurance portal XYZNet as a digital tools provided by PT Asuransi XYZ Indonesia for their agents’ to increase market share in retail business in Indonesia. Where the portal was facing the challenge of the low number of usage. This study used a quantitative approach, involved 100 respondents which have minimum five times using this portal as samples. The analysis technique used in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS) Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), with the help of SmartPLS version 3.2.8 software. The results indicated that service quality positively influenced agents’ satisfaction, satisfaction also positively influenced agents’ loyalty. However service quality did not significantly influenced agents’ loyalty. The finding also indicated that satisfaction was a significant variable that media...
Service loyalty: the effects of service quality and the mediating role of customer satisfaction
European journal of marketing, 2002
Service loyalty, with its final effect on repurchasing by customers, appears to have received relatively little attention. This study starts by first delineating the concept of service loyalty and proceeds to distinguish between service quality and customer satisfaction. A mediational model that links service quality to service loyalty via customer satisfaction is proposed. Appropriate measures are identified and a postal survey is undertaken among 1,000 retail banking customers. A response rate of 20.5 per cent is obtained. Results indicate that customer satisfaction does play a mediating role in the effect of service quality on service loyalty. The effects of a number of demographic indicators on service loyalty are also reported. Implications are discussed, limitations of the study are noted and possible areas for further research are indicated.
