Mobile Application for Electric Power Monitoring on Energy Consumptions at a Campus University
This paper presents a research on electric power monitoring prototype mobile applications development on energy consumptions in a university campus. Electric power energy consumptions always are the issue of monitoring usage especially in a broad environment. University campus faces high used of electric power, thus crucial analysis on cause of the usage is needed. This research aims to analyses electric power usage in a university campus where implemented of few smart meters is installed to monitor five main buildings in a campus university. A Monitoring system is established in collecting electric power usage from the smart meters. Data from the smart meter then is analyzed based on energy consume on 5 buildings. Results presents graph on the power energy consume and presented on mobile applications using Live Code coding. The methodology involved the setup of the smart meters, monitoring and data collected from main smart meters, analyzed electrical consumptions for 5 buildings and mobile system development to monitor. A Live Code mobile app is designed then data collected from smart meter using ION software is published in graphs. Results presents the energy consumed for 5 building during day and night. Details on maximum and minimum energy consumption presented that show load of energy used in the campus. Result present Tower 1 saved most eenergy at night which is 65% compared to block 3 which is 8% saved energy although block 3 presents the lowest energy consumption in the working hours and non-working hours. This project is significant that can help campus facility to monitor electric power used thus able to control possible results in future implementations.
Improvements in Iot-Based Monitoring Of Energy Use
The design and implementation of an IoT-based Intelligent Electricity Consumption Warning System are discussed in this study. The technology is designed to offer in-home and industrial settings real-time monitoring and management of power use. Microcontroller, LCD, IOT module, current sensor, relay module, load lamp, and lamp holder are some of the parts that the system consists of. Using a current sensor to measure electricity usage, the system then transmits that data to the microcontroller, which processes and displays it on the LCD panel. Via a user-friendly interface, the IOT module provides remote system monitoring and control.
Monitoring, Controlling & Conserving of Electrical Energy Using IOT
INTERANTIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT
Energy consumption refers to the amount of energy consumed by an individual or organization which has been taken for granted in daily life by consumers especially at home.A circuit is designed, to take care of electrical energy consumption which helps the consumers to focus on the extra charges incurred due to minor changes in slab categories which affect the consumer’s bill severely[1]. This system utilizes a sensor module that is connected with ARDUINO along with GSM, ESP 8266, and energy meter to measure the power consumption at the home[2].The main aim of this paper is to make consumers aware of the power consumption and to control the excess power consumption, by using a IoT Based Electrical Energy Consumptıon Live Monitoring & Controlling System. The power consumption data is collected and stored in to IoT cloud services[3]. Daily usage is updated to the consumer periodically through a mobile application which helps to reduce over usage of power.
"Design and Implement Mechanism for Efficient Energy Meter using IOT" Authors
Nowadays IOT has taken all over the world as every person is working towards automation of everything. Automation is one of the main part of IOT system. In the existing system the real time monitoring system for residentialenergy system is proposed. The Drawback of existing system is some kind of manual work is done for the calculation of monthly bill ofelectricity consumption of users. So we overcome that problem with the use of IOT to overcome thismanual work and making the whole system automated. The system will becost effective. It willbe light weight and easy to install. The system will help in collecting theexact reading of the energy meter and proper bill generation will be doneaccordingly. The presented work can also be extended to large scale fromwhich load distributed in the area can be estimated so that the system canbestrengthened to enhance its performance.

The noticeable increase in electricity bill cost is one of the most significant factors that negatively affect the lifestyle of society and economics of all countries in the world. This is due to the depletion of unnecessary energy, which leads to financial losses for customers. Moreover, the high price of electricity due to excessive consumption may cause a big problem between the consumer and the electricity distribution companies. The absence of an energy consumption monitoring system exacerbates this problem. Therefore, it became necessary to develop a strategy to monitor energy consumption that can calculate daily consumption and display it to customers to know their energy consumption without facing any difficulties. This paper aims to design and implement an energy meter system for optimized cost using internet of things (IoT) technology. This is to alert customers to take preventive measures that help limit the rise in electricity bills. This system is simulated through the TINKERCAD program; it did through the Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE) as for the system programming. Moreover, the system implementation and testing have been completed, and the required results have been analyzed and successfully reached. The system has performed well and is acceptable. Also, it can be classified as efficient, simple, and easy to use.

This paper is described to measure energy consumption in the house and generate its bill automatically using telemetric communication. This can help in reducing energy consumption in house as the owner is continuously being notified about the number of units that are consumed. It objective is to generate bill automatically by checking the electricity unit's consumption in a house and in a way to reduce the manual labor. The calculations are performed automatically and the bill is updated on the internet by using a network of Internet of Things. The bill amount can be checked by the owner anywhere globally.

Current energy billing in India cause errors and also time and labour consuming. There is no way to know the proper and detail information about the energy meter. So, problems and errors in existing system is overcome by proposed system using PIC microcontroller, NodeMCU, RFID tag, GSM module. In the proposed system at regular interval measure the amount of current and power consumed by the customer and the electric bill will be generated based on the their amount of power usage every month. Also eliminates the manual meter reading and providing real time data, useful for balancing electric loads and reducing power cuts. This system detect and control the energy meter from the power theft, if unauthorized activities detected an alert message will be sent through GSM module and power will cut from the server directly using relay. To pay the electric bill on time prepaid system is introduced. Objective of the system is making it possible to use power resources more efficiently.
The demand for power has increased exponentially over the last century. One avenue through which today's energy problems can be addressed is through the reduction of energy usage in households. This has increased the emphasis on the need for accurate and economic methods of power measurement. The main objective of the project is to develop smart energy meter is not only measure the consumer's power consumption in KWH but also to enable and support real consumption in rupees according to consumer tariff, so meter reader doesn't need to visit each customer for the consumed data collection and to distribute the SMS. Here a new method of post paid electronic energy metering is introduced in this paper which will automatic ally sense the used energy, records these reading continuously, then sends it to the billing point through the existing GSM network. The energy consumption is calculated using measurement voltage and current with help of current sensor (IN4148), measure voltage and current respectively. Power product of voltage and current, its unit watt or KW and energy is product of power (watt) and time (Hour).so, we use mentioned standard formula and using Arduino Microcontroller Programming, we are calculating total energy consumption of consumer load. Microcontroller has an interface in size of 16*2 LCD, it shows important data dimensions such as voltage, current, active and power and energy consumption it also shows power qualities.
