The role of organizational learning in enhancing firm's innovativeness has become important to secure a sustainable competitive edge. This study attempts to explore this relationship by introducing a transformational leadership style as a mediator. The data were collected from 220 participants belonging to private higher education institutions in Malaysia through survey research using the structured interview schedule. The findings confirm organizational learning to be an important factor in promoting creativity in innovative organization. Transformational leadership Managers with learning ability improves their leadership skill and understanding to accumulate knowledge and experience to use it productively in challenging and competitive environment. This accumulated knowledge can further be utilized to enhance ability to anticipate the future and respond to customers' demands through products based on their innovation capability. The implications of the results for academics and practitioners are discussed.

The role of organizational learning in transformational leadership and organizational innovation

Leadership is an important factor affecting organizational innovation. Many studies show that transformational leadership has positive and significant influence on organizational innovation. Based on a literature review and previous work, this study aims to investigate the influence of transformational leadership on organizational innovation and to examine whether organizational learning is a mediator between their relationships. Structural equation modeling was used to test the model. The research sample consisted of 330 teachers in charge of administration in postsecondary schools. The findings of this study provide evidence that transformational leadership and organizational learning have significant positive relationship influence on organizational innovation. The research also demonstrates that there is significant effect on the role of mediation in organizational learning on the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational innovation. The study suggests that if school principals use the strategies of transformational leadership and organizational learning at the same time, organizational learning was highly effectiveness to achieve organizational innovation in the postsecondary schools.

The Influence of Transformational Leadership on Organization Innovation in Malaysian Manufacturing Industry

In today industry, transformational leadership has become the top influential factor that affects the organization innovation. The aim of this study is to determine the level of transformational leadership (idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual, and individual consideration) for employees in the Malaysian manufacturing industry. This study also identifies the influence of transformational leadership on organization innovation in the Malaysian manufacturing industry. This research involved the leaders of admin level in manufacturing industry Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia. The survey questionnaire was distributed to 165 respondents. The result indicated that Intellectual Stimulation was the highest level for employees in the manufacturing industry. However, Individual Consideration was the most significant correlation to organization innovation in the manufacturing industry. This quantitative research is important to provide better information relating to the relationship between transformational leadership and the organization innovation so that the admin level leader can obtain a clear understanding of how to guide their followers effectively in an organization.

EXPLORING LEADERSHIP STYLES AND INNOVATION: HOW TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP DRIVES CREATIVITY AND COMPETITIVENESS IN BUSINESS

This study investigates the relationship between leadership styles, particularly transformational leadership, and innovation in driving organizational change and growth. The objective was to analyze how transformational leadership influences creativity and competitiveness. The research used a mixed-methods approach, surveying 120 firms across technology, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors, and conducting interviews with business leaders. Results revealed that firms led by transformational leaders reported 70% successful innovation initiatives compared to 50% in firms with transactional leaders. The conclusion emphasizes the critical role of leadership in fostering an innovative organizational environment.

Impact of Transformational Leadership style on Innovative Behavior at Organizational Level: Managerial Perspectives

The aim of this research study was to explore the impact of transformational style of leadership on Innovative Behavior at organizational level and compare them based on gender, private and public organization. For the sample, 120 organizations (60 private and 60 public) and 240 managers were randomly selected for this research study. The transformational style of leadership was measured in this study through certain factors i.e., idealized influence intellectual and behavioral simulation, and idealized influence (attributed). There was no meaningful contrast with respect to gender, when the subjects were asked for their views about innovative behavior, instead both groups had shown similar point of view; as far as the public and private managerial perspectives were concerned, significant difference was observed. The policymakers should, it is recommended that, augment their efforts of hiring graduates who are capable enough.

Purpose of the study-This research aims to provide a deeper understanding of the extent that transformational leadership can affect the organization to be innovative. To understand this relationship, three propositions will be developed through literature survey. This paper will further examine whether culture, followers' creativity or organizational learning have any influence on this relationship. Design / methodology / approach-To propose a conceptual model, this research provides an overview of literature on transformational leadership and organizational innovation. This review of literature develops propositions that relate transformational leadership with the organizational innovation through three factors: culture, followers' creativity and organizational learning.

The relationship between transformational leadership with organizational innovation

Aim: The current study was aimed at investigating the relationship between transformational leadership with organizational innovation in Islamic Azad University (Qom Branch) (IAUQB). Methods: To reach this, the descriptive correlational study was conducted. The population under study was consisted of all the 175 faculty members of IAUQB. Using simple random sampling, a number of 120 faculty members were selected as the sample population in the study. To collect data, the researcher used the questionnaires by Bass and Avoilo's transformational leadership, and Esmail's et al., organizational innovation. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by the experts in the field. The reliability of the questionnaire was measured using Cronbach alpha. It showed that the reliability of transformational leadership was 0.83, and organizational innovation's reliability was 0.89. Data analysis was carried out using the statistical program package SPSS 19. To analyze the data, the researcher used the descriptive method of investigation as well as inferential methods (such as regression, Pearson correlation coefficient). Result: The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between organizational leadership and its variables by organizational innovation. The results of step-wise regression also proved that idealized influence was the best predictor of organizational innovation. Discussion: In analyzing organizational culture variables, it was shown that adaptability and mission is the best predictor for organizational innovation. MANOVA test results also showed that there was a significant difference between transformational leadership and organizational innovation. In comparing transformational leadership with organizational innovation, the point of difference was based on working experience and gender.
