Rapid growth rate in broilers is always followed by a rapid fatty liver, in which fat storage tends to increase with increasing body weight. The rapid growth in broilers that are often followed by a fatty is higher, it becomes a problem for consumers who want a chicken with a low fatty. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding the juice of betel leaves to body weight of broiler chickens. This research was conducted in 9 March to 6 April 2014 for 28 days at Hamlet Village Kedungrejo Salamrejo Binangun District of Blitar. This research used an experimental method that uses a completely randomized design (CRD) using 4 treatments with 5 replicates, each replicate consisting 5 Broiler. The Results showed the treatment had no significant effect (P = 0.05) on body weight. Based on statistical calculations did not show any differences. THE EFFECT OF FRESH MURBEI (Morus alba ) LEAF INCLUSION IN THE DIETS ON BROILER CHICKEN PERFORMANCE. The present study was conducted to determine the effect of inclusion of fresh Murbey leaf (Morus alba) substituting part of diets on broiler chicken performance. Sixty broiler chicken aged 3 weeks were used in the present study. The dietary treatments were in Completely Randomized Design arrangement with 4 treatments and 5 replications. Treatments were fresh Murbey leaf (Morus alba) with several levels of inclusion in the diets (R0 = 0%, R1 = 2%, R2 = 4%, dan R3 = 6%). Parameters measured were: daily feed consumption, daily gain, and feed conversion ratio (FCR). All data was submitted to the ANOVA procedure for completely randomized design. Differences were considered significant at P < 0.05. Tukey's significant difference test was used to compare means. With the reception study, the researcher focuses on the interaction between the Z generation audience and the texts that appear in the media so that a picture emerges of how the media is able to influence or not influence the audience in defining the social reality related to fatherhood that appears in the film. Based on these problems, this study aims to determine the position of the audience's reception of the representation of fatherhood in the film Later Kita Stories About Today based on the three positions of Hall's meaning, namely : dominant reading, negotiation reading, and oppositional reading.

(RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Kemudian jika berbeda nyata, dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) pada taraf nyata 5%. Perlakuan penelitian ini adalah penambahan ekstrak teh hijau dengan berbagai konsentrasi (A= 5%, B= 7,5%, C= 10%, D= 12,5%, E= 15%). Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa penambahan ekstrak teh hijau terhadap es krim bengkuang memberikan pengaruh yang tidak berbeda nyata terhadap kadar gula, total padatan terlarut, overrun dan daya leleh. Namun berbeda sangat nyata terhadap kadar protein, kadar lemak dan aktivitas antioksidannya. Hasil uji organoleptik menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan Penambahan Ekstrak Teh Hijau Konsentrasi 5% adalah produk terbaik yang dapat diterima oleh panelis dengan persentase rasa 55%, aroma 40%, warna 45% dan tekstur 40%. Karakteristik dari perlakuan A adalah kadar gula 9,17%, kadar protein 8,32%, kadar lemak 8,36%, kadar padatan terlarut 16,29%, aktivitas antioksidan 35,38%, overrun 27,38%, daya leleh 5,9 menit. Based on the approach and type of data used, this research is included in qualitative research so that it will produce descriptive data in the form of words. The data analyzed in it is descriptive and not in the form of numbers as in quantitative research.

PENGARUH UMUR TERHADAP AKTIVITAS ENZIM LIPOGENIK DI HATI DAN AKUMULASI LEMAK P ADA A YAM BROILER
he present study was conducted to evaluate effect of age on hepatic lipogenic enzyme activities and lipid fraction in broiler chicks. Eighty broiler chicks were distributed into one group. Broilers were fed commercial diet and provided drinking water ad libitum. At 5, 10, 12, 15, 17,20,22,25,27, and 56 days of age (27, 42, and 56 days of age for serum and carcass collection), 5 chicks were selected based on weights and killed. Experimental results show that the older chicks would have lower specific activity of hepatic acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC) and fatty acid synthetase (F AS) activities (P<0,01). Age influenced hepatic triglyceride (P<0.05), serum cholesterol ester and free cholesterol (P<O.OI). The older chicks had higher serum phospholipid and triglyceride (P<0.01). The older chicks had higher carcass fat and abdominal fat (P<0,01), and lower carcass moisture (P<0.05). In conclusion, the older chicks had lower specific activities of hepatic ACC and FAS (lipogenic enzymes) with higher lipid accumulation.
