Belief, Myth and Biopower (original) (raw)
2016
Abstract
Biopower takes shape thanks to, if not exclusively through, beliefs and myths. It may appear as a form of objective opposition to variables or as the will to universalize rarely used populational medical choices. Biopower can also manifest itself as a priori stances, often validated by the principle of precaution, which do nothing more than sterilize any form of scientific progress.
