HOW DO SPORTS COMPETITIONS HELP IN THE PROCESS OF SOCIALIZATION OF STUDENTS (10-12 YEARS OLD)
Annals of the University of Oradea. Physical Education and Sport Fascicle, 2018
Abstract: Our study focused on observing the influence of sports competitions and motor activities on pupils aged between 10 and 12. The experiment started in september 2016 and was finished in june 2017, and had as samples two groups of children, the first group, the experimental group, consisted of 20 students aged between 10 and 12 years old, 12 boys and 8 girls, with whom we dealt with the 2 hours of physical education and sports from the curriculum and 3 more training sessions on initiation in basketball game; the second group, the control group, consisting of 20 pupils aged between 10 and 12 years old, 13 boys and 7 girls, with whom we spent 2 hours of physical education following the classical curriculum. The research methods were the study of the specialized bibliography, the observation method with observation sheets of pupils' behavior, the graphic and mathematical methods. The results of the research showed significant differences between the two groups of pupils in the adaptation parameters to the school environment, the degree of integration in the school, the level of communication, the behavior at the lesson, and the work style; regarding the item of participation in group life, we found insignificant differences.
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of teaching strategy with games in the improvement of some physical and motor capacities and among students at the secondary level (16-18 years), where we used the experimental method with two groups experimental and control. Because the teaching strategy with games is one of the best methods to stimulate students’ activity and to increase the motives to exercise the session of physical education and sports, because it depends on the dynamics of team games similar to the performance during the session. The research was done on a sample of 32 students representing the experimental sample and 32 students representing the control sample. And a set of tests was implemented to determine some physical and motor abilities, after obtaining the results before and after measurements. And after statistical processing of the results, the researchers reach: that the effectiveness of the teaching strategy with games have improved some of the physical and motor capacities and among students at the secondary level (16-18 years).

Fundamental Motor Skill (FMS) is the initial foundation for students to start practising more complex movements. FMS is still not specifically taken seriously enough to be taught. Teachers assume that students will master these abilities by themselves. Students' FMS abilities are still low, and the learning does not emphasize FMS as the initial foundation, so the level of students' participation is not satisfactory. In this study, researchers implemented a physical education program using traditional "bebentengan" and "boy-boyan" games. This study examines the impact of a physical education program using traditional bebentengan and boy-boyan games on FMS for elementary school students. This study used a one-group pre-test and post-test design with 43 participants as samples: 20 male and 23 female students. The Gross Motor Development (TGMD-3) instrument and the sports participation scale were employed to measure the students' skills. The results obtained in the Gross Motor Development (TGMD-3) with seven aspects resulted in a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, and in sports participation, a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, which means it has a significant effect. It can be inferred that the traditional games of bebentengan and boy-boyan significantly have a positive effect on elementary school students' FMS and their participation.

This study aims to define the effect of using some small games to develop some perceptual‑motor abilities through the sport education lesson for 6‑8 years old primary stage students. The researcher used the empirical method on a sample of 40 male students divided into two groups: Control and empirical groups under the researchers’ supervision as educational units were applied on them using small games. As for tests, they adopted bourdon gauge to use motor perception abilities of children. After statistical treatment of raw results, the researchers found that using small games in sport education lessons had a positive effect on some perceptual‑motor abilities under research for 6‑8 years old primary stage students.

The research has followed the way to improve the motor qualities by applying the specific means of the sports game (handball) to the designated learning units. In the present paper, there are displayed the results regarding the strength and resistance skills. The experiment took place during the 2017-2018 school years. There were involved 79 students from the seventh grade from two different schools in the rural environment. The process of preparing the specific means for developing the strength and resistance skills was replaced by the process of preparing the specific means for the handball game. There were 10 exercises selected containing elements from the handball game for each motor skill (strength /resistance) For the strength motor skill were assigned sixteen lessons (six lessons on the first semester and ten lessons on the second semester) and for the resistance skill were assigned 10 lessons only for the second semester. For resistance were used 3exerciţii during one lesson which were replayed during the lesson from the same week. The allocated time was 3 to 5 minutes for each exercise. For strength were used two means during the lesson, the allocated time being of 5 to 7 minutes. For the evaluation were used four trials taken from the National System of Evaluation. The data were registered and processed through the statistics application SPSS 23.0. The results showed significant progress, after applying the selected exercises, for experimental groups.

Physical education fulfills its role according to the complexity and diversity of objectives which it claims, objectives that are defined in theory, in biomotive, psychomotive and sociomotive fields of the human being. This highlights the versatility of the directed motility field and hence of the school subject "Physical Education In this article, we provide an efficient way, experimentally verified, for proper implementation in the formal training system, of new types of learning activities based on different types of motive games. The social learning program that we applied in school practice, demonstrates that physical education, in addition to the benefits it brings to the student, concerning improving physical fitness, maintaining health, motive capacity building and harmonious physical development presents real potential of full action upon the personality of young people as well, people involved in continuous institutional training.
THE SOCIALIZING ROLE OF MOTOR ACTIVITIES AT PRIMARY SCHOOL LEVEL
Abstract: Motor activities are considered the perfect setting in training young generations, being appreciated as an important socializing factor with increasingly higher value in modern society. Both the development of biological and psychological characteristics, shaped by socialization process contributes to the continuing forming as summing and exercising new social roles and acquiring new experiences. Social learning theory has shown that socialization is made best in sport. According to specialists, practicing physical activities or sports influences youth personality and creates positive effects on body and mind. Using sociological and group questionnaire method, we will analyze the role and importance of socialization in motor activities and their mark on group cohesion and integration of marginalized students. Keywords: social, motor activities, social integration.
Abstract Motor activities are an important source of socialization, communication and social integration being an ideal setting in forming young people and their further development. Social learning theory has shown that socialization is done best in sport activities. Physical benefits of sport are well known and very important, but the social part attracts children in practicing a sport. They are happy that they can meet their friends and spend time with them outside school, and this is more important than knowing they are physically active. Social interaction through team sport teaches young people to: associate with their friends, solve and prevent conflicts, communicate and socialize better with their colleagues. Our study started from the presumption that we can improve socialization through sport team activities. The experiment was done with two groups, at the first group experimental group, we worked with team sports like basketball and volleyball in improving the socialization of our students, at the second group we worked with single sport activities like chess, tennis, running. We measured the socialization level using a questionnaire at bought groups. The results showed us big improvement in socialization level at the experimental group and some smaller improvements at the second group.
