This study aimed at clarifying the effect of using the Generative Model on the acquisition of mathematical concepts and problem solving for 7th grade students in light of their logical thinking. A sample of 71 seventh graders was selected and divided into two groups, by random selection: an experimental group of 36 students and a control group of 35 students. Instructional material for the unit of Algebra was prepared for the experimental group in accordance with the Generative Model, and its validity was verified by arbitration. An acquisition of mathematical concepts test, a mathematical problem solving test and a logical thinking test were developed and were valid and reliable. The results showed statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group, in both the acquisition of mathematical concepts and in solving mathematical problems. The results also showed statistically significant differences in both the acquisition of mathematical concepts and solving mathematical problems due to the interaction between the teaching method and the level of the logical thinking. In light of these findings, the study recommended the need for holding workshops to introduce the model and to train teachers to use it, and urged them to employ it in teaching mathematics. Also, the study recommended researchers to study the impact of this model on other variables and at different academic levels.

This Paper aims at Knowing the impact of using Introductory problems Solution in the Achievement and development of Deductive Thinking of Fifth Primary Female Pupils in General Sciences Subject.. The sample is limited to Zubair Bin Al-awam during the academic year 2007-2008. The researchers used the experimental design of two equal groups i.e. control group and experimental group. The control group was taught by Introductory Scientific Problems Solving, while the experimental group was taught by Traditional Method. The sample consists of(40Female Pupils) who were distributed equally on the two groups .Equality between the two groups with regard to the variables has been achieved. The researchers have given permission to the teacher of the subject in the school mentioned above to teach it. The researchers have chosen Deductive Thinking Measurement which has been prepared by (Al-Mualm,2000) and consists of (50) items. Fifteen of these items have been chosen because they were more suitable to the subject under analysis. An Achievement test consisting of (20) multiple-choice items has also been chosen. The researchers have applied the Deductive Thinking Measurement in the pre-and post-test on the two groups of the research after teaching the prescribed material, viz. the first part of the Sciences Subject. The results of the research have shown the reliability of the null hypotheses except the first null hypothesis which shows a statistical significant difference in deductive thinking for the experimental group. Accordingly, the researches have put forward some Recommendations and suggestions, the most important of which is a program for Introductory Solving of Problems and knowing its influence on other kinds of thinking.

The study aimed to investigate the effect of using a strategy based on integration between learning cycle and conceptual maps on acquiring geometrical concepts and cognitive flexibility by seventh grade students in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (69) students during the scholastic year 2015/2016. The study sample was divided randomly into two groups: experimental which consisted of (34) students through using the strategy that is based on integrating learning cycle with conceptual maps, and a control group which consisted of (35) students who studied (geometry subject) by the traditional method. A geometrical concepts test and cognitive flexibility measure were prepared. A teacher's guide was also prepared to teach through using the strategy. The results related to geometrical concepts in general, as well as each individual concept: (angles, adjacent angles, vertical angles, complementary angles, supplementary angles, perpendicular, parallel, alternate angles, corresponding angles, allied angles, triangle, equilateral triangle, isosceles triangle, scalene triangle, acute-right angled triangle, right angled triangle, and obtuse triangle) that students in the experimental group performed better and had more cognitive flexibility than their counterparts in the control group who studied by the traditional method

This study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of a training program based on a creative problem solving model (CPS) in developing mathematical power for 8th grade students in light of their mathematics achievement. To achieve this goal, a training program was designed to focus on a set of mathematical ideas and skills in an algebra quantities unit using creative problem solving strategies. The researcher designed a test to measure mathematics power. The sample of the study consisted of 135 female eight grade students randomly selected from Dhahra governorate, which was divided into experimental and control groups. For testing the study hypothesis, data were analyzed by analysis of covariance (ANCOVA 2X3) in which eta squared was obtained. The study revealed a significant difference (α=0.05) in the means between the experimental and control groups in the mathematical power test in favor of the experimental group.

The current research aimed to identify the degree to which primary grade teachers practice creative thinking skills and their attitude towards it in the city of Tabuk. The research depends on the descriptive approach to describe the research variables and build a data collection tool; Where the observation card was built, which consisted of three sections; the first section is general information about the Sample of research, the second section, is(30) items for the summary behavior of the skill, and it includes three axes; the first axis: fluency, the second axis: flexibility, the third axis: originality, and the third section included (10) items is that measure teachers' attitudes towards creative thinking. The research sample includes (41) male and female teachers from the primary classes who were chosen randomly. Where the research use software program during application. The search results showed the following: The degree to which primary grade teachers practice creative thinking skills was (high), and their attitude toward creative thinking was positive. There are no statistically significant differences at the statistical significance level (0.05) attributable to (the variable of sex) on the axes of the research tool, except in one axis only, which is the axis (teachers' attitudes towards creative thinking), and the differences came in favor of females. There are no statistically significant differences at the statistical significance level (0.05) due to the variable (educational qualification, years of experience, number of training courses), in the response of the research sample as a whole, and in each axis separately. Research also recommended: Holding training courses for primary grade teachers, in order to train them to use all that is new in the field of creative thinking.
