A round robin project on the transport properties of R134a (original) (raw)
International Journal of Refrigeration-revue Internationale Du Froid, 1995
Abstract
An international project coordinated by the Subcommittee on Transport Properties of Commission I.2 of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry is announced. The project aims to investigate the large discrepancies between the results reported by various authors for the viscosity and thermal conductivity of refrigerant R134a. The investigation will aim to uncover the reason or reasons for these discrepancies by means of new measurements of the properties of a single sample in nine or more laboratories throughout the world. The use of a single sample permits a test of the hypothesis that at least a part of the differences reported arises from sample purity.
