Agriculture Based on Research Paper (Biplab Kumar Dash)

Local government has to be interested not only to improve its performance, cost budgeting, but also to maintain public confidence in the implementation of citizen expectations. However, the efforts to improve the quality of public services often lack systematic approach. In this case, citizens are unused resources to improve service delivery. There are various problems in different field of local government such as (Administration, Education, Health, Agriculture, Land, co-operative department etc.) Agriculture sector play an important role of our economy. As our economy is based on economy thus its development is core need. But it has been observed that there are various problems are in the agriculture sector. The problem can be classified as planning formulation, implementation, services delivery; distribution services are not adequate and standard. My working area was Paikgacha upazila. I try my best to find the actual citizens views and expectations from agriculture department. For this term paper I conduct 100 questionnaires from different types of general people those who are come to agriculture office. Besides this, I collected data through deep observation of public servant's activities, different conversation with general people and others offices and different nongovernment organization. After finishing the collection of information about public servants, I estimate the result of the study in this term paper. About 71% people of the area agree that public servants serve according to their expectation. But there do in existing many problems in bureaucrats. Some people believe that public servants are corrupted and work only their selfinterest. The problems identified would be solved if some recommendations would be implemented which are included in this report.

Ethiopia, a land of diversified people with their own distinctive culture, religion, economic and socio-political life forms. But whatever the difference they have, they live together with great respection. As part of the world she experienced a lot of good and bad things. Of all the bad things she had got were natural disaster which include climatic change, flood, and shortage of rain fall, political instability, war drought, famine, and mal-administration. Of all the afore mentioned challenges Ethiopia had faced, Famine takes the first rank since ancient times around the ninth century. It doesn't mean she is now completely free from such hazards.

Vidyasagar_University_journal_of_social_science.pdf edited by Tarun kumar Banerjee

This journal was the first of its kind at Vidyasagar University when I joined in the first week of December 1985. We thought of a social science journal and pledged to fight against overspecialisation. Dr.Tarun Kumar Banerjee(Political Science) was the main thinker and worker towards its publication. Dr.Ambarish Mukherjee(Political Science), Dr.Samkar Bhowmick(Economics) and I from Anthropology formed the nucleus of this effort. Our other aim was to focus on the district of erstwhile Medinipur, its society, economy and politics. Interestingly, all the three of us were not the 'son of the soil' but were dedicated to the ideals of Vidyasagar University as championed by the founder of our university Professor Anil Kumar Gayen, a Cambridge Ph.D and of course a true 'son of the soil' about whom we came to know much later and unknowingly we propagated the cause of the founder's mission.https://www.academia.edu/2581992/A\_forgotten\_founder\_of\_a\_university\_.\_Frontier\_Vol.\_45\_No.\_9\_2012\_pp.\_11-13 This journal did not continue and interdisciplinary research at Vidyasagar University in the social sciences did not flourish except in some individual remarkable research.
