The Proteome Analysis database (http://www.ebi.ac. uk/proteome/) has been developed by the Sequence Database Group at EBI utilizing existing resources and providing comparative analysis of the predicted protein coding sequences of the complete genomes of bacteria, archeae and eukaryotes.
