The study was sought to assess the achievement of training objectives of provincial training institutions for heads of secondary schools in Pakistan. Study was descriptive in nature.430 trained secondary school heads constituted the population of the study. Out of the total population 400 respondents were randomly selected. Data was collected through questionnaire and analyzed by t-test. Findings of the study revealed that the training has enhanced their understanding about the concept of leadership and management, development planning skills, knowledge of office management, human resource management, teaching learning process, parents, and community participation in school improvement initiatives. However, the training has not enhanced their understanding about the concept of financial management in both provinces. Considering secondary education as a turning phase in students' educational life, it is given due importance. In this phase, students are supposed to plan their careers. This paper aimed to evaluate the content used for the training program conducted by the Provincial Institution of Teacher Education (PITE) Peshawar for secondary schools' heads. The data collected using a survey method targeting the trainee heads of secondary schools and resource persons of the training programs. Descriptive statistics was used to analyze the collected data. The findings of the study revealed that content of training program was well organized, up to date, relevant to the needs of heads, interesting, useful to their current job and were in line with the training objectives. There is no need to revise the content of training program. However, there found little involvement of the resource persons in the development of training content. It was recommended that in order for content to be effective and provincial training institutions to be successful, resource persons must be involved in the content development process of training program of heads of secondary schools; moreover, IT to be included in such content.

This study is an evaluation of the effectiveness and relevance of in-service Head Teachers of Rawalpindi Division training workshop organized by DSD, Lahore. The study also sought to find out the best predictors for Head teacher productivity. The population of study was 864 Head Teachers of Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools of Rawalpindi division. A sample of 187 (21.6%) Head Teachers of Secondary and Higher secondary Schools were taken in this study. Data was obtained by the Head Teachers by using the questionnaire that covered the content and outcome at the end of the workshop. The study found that: duration of the workshop was adequate but there was insufficient time given for discussions and questioning; there was inadequate material resources such as handouts, softcopies, CDs and slide presentations; the resource persons provided for the workshop were generally good; the training workshop was relevant to the participants in relation to their work; participants benefited from the training in terms of capacity building, awareness of new trends, confidence building and general change of attitude towards work. Recommendations are made for future improvement of such workshop.

There are a wide range of elements that affect how well children are educated and cared for. Poor service quality is typically the result of a number of variables working against children's learning, rather than one specific feature of the service. Background: Poor quality services lack or fail to incorporate elements like leadership, vision, and professional kind of learning as well as development that are necessary for some services to be of a high caliber. Poor quality kind of education with care can also be caused by rigidly followed procedures, underfunded or hazardous learning environments, and ineffective teaching methods. Purpose: To analysis the students' and teachers' opinions of the challenges affecting the teaching and learning of secondary schools in India and analysis the various issues and challenges involved into it. Research Method: The present paper analysis the students' and teachers' opinions of the challenges affecting the teaching and learning of secondary schools in India sample has taken of 400 teachers including 200 male and 200 female teachers. Conclusion: The study made clear that while training has an impact on teacher adjustment, gender and management do not. People with more training are more adaptable than people without training.

The purpose of the study was to compare the leadership practices based on Hersey Blanchard model in AJK. The major objective of this study were to: compare the leadership practices of male and female Head teacher based on Hersey Blanchard Model, compare the leadership practices of public and private school Head teachers based on Hersey Blanchard Model. The study was descriptive in nature as it based on survey. The population of the study were Head Teachers of three District of AJK i.e. (kotli, Sudhnuti and Poonch) Stratified sampling technique was used for selecting the sample. The sample is selected according to (Gay, 2009). Data were collected using a survey questionnaire prepared on fivepoint Likert scale. Collected data were analyzed through independent sample t-test. On the basis of analysis and findings conclusion were drawn that the leadership practices of male Head teachers are better as compare to female Head teachers regarding direction and coaching while in supporting and delegation female Head teachers' practices are better as compare to male Head teachers' practices. It was concluded that the leadership practices of private Head teachers are better as compare to public Head teachers regarding direction, coaching and supporting while in delegation, public Head teachers' practices are better than private Head teachers' practices. The finding of the study recommended some ideas to be made for improving leadership practices. Government should provide forum in which both public and Private Head teacher share their practices. Government should upgrade their teacher and Head teacher regarding coaching according to modern era. Department of education should organize a proper ongoing training for their teacher and Head teacher regarding directing, coaching, supporting and delegation. The management of private schools should organize a proper ongoing training for their teacher and Head teacher regarding directing, coaching, supporting and delegation.
This paper aims to analyse and identify various factors of teachers' training programmes for the teachers of Federal Government Schools. It was also aimed to conduct an empirical study of teachers' perception of their training programs which is provided to them. As a sample of the study, three hundred teachers were randomly selected from the Federal Government Schools working in the jurisdiction of 31 st and 02 nd Corps of Pakistan Army. The data was collected by administering a 44 items agree disagree four points Likert type scale. Result of the t-test, and one way ANNOVA show that adequate planning is required by the concerned authorities towards planning and conduct of various activities during the training sessions. Classroom is a community of learners where formal interaction takes place between the teacher and the taught. Better management of classroom ensures quality of teaching and learning. Problem of classroom management is a common phenomenon in Pakistani schools. The purpose of this study was to investigate secondary school teachers’ perception of classroom management its problem and solutions in government secondary schools in District Chitral. The study investigated into the problem through a descriptive research using a survey method. Training and performance have always been a driving force for enhancing the teacher's performance. A training and development program provides opportunities to the employees to be acquainted with the verity of skills, information, attitude and conduct. This study aims to investigate the impact of training on teacher's performance and also investigate the relationship between demographic factors:-1-Gender 2-Age 3-Qualification.We use SJoP Instrument to measure the teacher's performance. The questionnaire was designed by using instrument and had 12 items by using Likert scale. We collect data from 250 teachers and using random sampling technique. After collecting data we use inferential statistics, and apply ANOVA to analyse the data. The findings show a positive relationship between the training and teacher's performance, and it develops teacher's skills and abilities to perform better in the classroom. This study suggests that institutions should conduct training for the teachers that help to enhance the teacher's performance in the classroom and give success and improve the institution's development.
