This research investigates the neurological manifestations associated with dengue infection, highlighting its implications in acute nervous system infections. The study conducted in southern Vietnam identifies specific dengue serotypes implicated in neurological disease and presents clinical data and virological analyses from hospitalized patients. Findings suggest that dengue can lead to severe acute neurological symptoms, with a notable connection between primary and secondary infections and potential for significant morbidity.
