Follicular Helper Cells T + of IL21 Produced by CXCR5 Ig-Secreting Cells: Predominant Role Human B Cell Differentiation into Cytokine-Mediated Regulation of (original) (raw)
The differentiation of mature B cells into plasma cells is essential for effective humoral immunity. Various cytokines, particularly IL-10 and IL-21, significantly influence B cell activity and Ig secretion. This research highlights the predominant role of IL-21, especially in the presence of CD40L, in differentiating B cells into Ig-secreting cells, outperforming IL-10. Additionally, IL-4 exhibits a suppressive effect on IL-21-induced differentiation, particularly in transitional and naive B cells.
