BOOK INTRODUCTIONS – 6: Mevlana Felsefesi - Çağlar Ötesini Aydınlatan Işık (Mevlana’s Philosophy – The Light Illuminating Beyond the Ages) (Hanri Benazus) (original) (raw)
Remembering the Latin proverb ‘’Verba volant, scripta manent – söz gider yazı kalır’’ in Turkish; I am going to introduce the books to you which I evaluated philosophically important. The sixth one is; ‘’ Mevlana Felsefesi - Çağlar Ötesini Aydınlatan Işık (Mevlana’s Philosophy – The Light Illuminating Beyond the Ages)’’ which is summarized by my dear friend Halit Yıldırım under this generic title. The writer from Izmir, Hanri Benazus, has added a new one to his books. He issued the book ‘’Mevlana’s Philosophy – The Light Illuminating Beyond the Ages’’ in which he explains the famous sufis and philosopher Mevlana's philosophy. The Book was published by ‘’Bizim Kitaplar’’ publishing house and after having been printed 2000 copies first, succeeded to make 3rd edition in 15 days. THe author stated that; ‘’United Nations has devoted the year 2007 as ‘Mevlana Year' and dedicated to Him. This is my 28th book. Therefore, my Book introduced Mevlana, explaining His philosophy to Turkey, regardless of the famous Mesnevi. Mevlana is an exceptional supreme being, a divine light and a spiritual sun who; gives new messages to human thought, offers the idea systems and religious beliefs of not only Islam but also Western thinkers in a ‘’soul – mind and love’’ triangle, opens up new horizons for humanity, by adding excitement towards mental, moral, religious and scientific beliefs. As a patriarch; he has thrilled the hearts, by the privileged beliefs and mindset he owned, he almost washed the pathfinding human mind, by his humanitarian feelings and cleared the minds and hearts freeing from of all adversities, of evil, of thinking up, of dirt and dichotomy. As he said; "the important thing is ‘not to be born as Human’, but ‘to know dying as Human’’. (‘’Önemli olan “İnsan” olarak doğmak değil, “İnsan” olarak ölmesini bilmektir.”) and ‘’I Have seen many people that they don’t have any clothes on. I Have seen many clothes that they don’t have any people in. (“Çok insan gördüm, üzerinde elbisesi yok; çok elbise gördüm, içinde insan yok” , I strongly suggest this book to those who have not read yet.
