The purpose of this paper is to analyse cultural issues in the buying decision process, and if these aspects may influenciate in the consumption of goods and services of the same country of origin as the culrure considered , in this case , the italian . Through the study of theories concerning consumer behavior and culture, we aimed to identify possible influences suffered along the learning process of the language and the the contact with the culture, and the possible reflex in the increase of consuption of italian goods and services . Through a transversal research, using questionary, applied to students of italian language at Associação Cultural Italiana do RS - ACIRS, from the first level to the most advanced ones, we monitored the process of change of habits of consuption of italian produts and services as times passes, and such students have more and more contact with the language and culture.
