Femalentendue

Abstract

This paper is a long adaptation of one initially given at the 2015 Lectures Féministes at Paris 8. The English was printed while the French read aloud. It proposes a Slash fiction of Joanna Russ's "Female Man", called [xxx] — an alternative, potential universe erupting between the choices made during translation.
