AUN, Heloisa Antonelli. The tragic hidden reality: narratives describing the practice of psychology in an institution for young offender. São Paulo, 2005. 136 p. Master´s of Science Dissertation. Instituto de Psicologia, Universidade de São Paulo. Based on attendants´ On-Board Narratives, this phenomenological investigation, interposed especially by authors of Clinic Psycho-sociology, proposes the reconstitution of the "Psychological Stand-by Service" performed to teenagers and employees of four interns´ unities of FEBEM, (juvenile detention center) of Sao Paulo, located in two buildings in the city of Sao Paulo. This psychological practice, presented by the Laboratory of Practice and Studies on Phenomenological Existential Psychology (LEFE) of the University of Sao Paulo (USP), used to occur as a clinical cartography. Conflicts were being revealed dividing the institution like a battle field: enemies and/or allies; threatening and/or threatened looks. On the edge an imminent explosion, each interns´ unit presented itself as a human relationship and conflicts´ sketch, inserted in a culture of interdict and amplified, in a reversed way, by codes of honor of the tragic, violent and rigid scenery of the criminal world. In this context, at the unit's patio, the "psychological stand-by service" were taking place, revealing a different way of performing the clinical treatment, recalling that intimacy can be respected in the public space and for it.
