"RESUMO O processo de desregulamentação do transporte aéreo e todas as alterações que têm surgido no mercado do transporte aéreo originaram o aparecimento de novos conceitos de aeroportos, nem sempre claros e fáceis de entender. Aeroportos hub, spokes e as bases operacionais, apresentam características próprias que importa explorar neste artigo por via de estudos de caso que visam evidenciar as diferenças e salientar a sua importância para as companhias aéreas envolvidas.
