The aim of the study was to investigate the effectiveness of blended learning in the study of business studies as relates to the Learning Management System (LMS) in a University College. The study was conducted with a view to assess the effectiveness of blended learning that has become a buzz word in the academic environment. The study further tries to assess how the Learning Management System helps in this popularity of the blended learning. A questionnaire with 27 (twenty seven) items was designed to evaluate the aspect of blended learning distributed to 34 students registered for Business Studies, while an online questionnaire with 18 (eighteen) items designed and surveyed by the Centre for Instructional and Technological Support (CITS) hosted online but taken by 180 students was used as secondary data to assess the way the LMS aids blended learning.
