The main objective of the study is to assess the possible geophysical contribution to field evaluation of archaeological remains in the context of rescue archaeology development. This assessment concerns the opportunity of enlarged approaches for excavation planning and takes part of a research project about geophysical prospection for rescue archaeology in Alsace (France) co-funded by ANRT (Association Nationale pour la Recherche et la Technique), and CG68 (Conseil Général du Haut-Rhin).
