This research explores the perceptions of higher education students towards the implementation of rural eco-tourism in Sebuyau, Sarawak. It aims to identify critical factors such as word of mouth and destination image that influence students' willingness to engage with eco-tourism. The findings suggest that these factors positively relate to the perception of Sebuyau as a viable eco-tourism destination, emphasizing the importance of promoting eco-tourism as a means of enhancing local economic development and environmental awareness.
