Growth Factors, Growth-Factor Receptors and Oncogenes

Abstract

ABSTRACT In this review we summarize the current knowledge of polypeptide growth factors, their receptors and oncogenes. Recent studies indicate that oncogenes are linked to growth factors and to growth factor receptors, suggesting that these molecules participate in the proliferation of normal and neoplastic cells.
