The paper presents an investigation of Small and Micro Enterprises in Saudi Arabia with the VISION 2030 is focused. This paper discuss about the effects, reasons, GDP and employment contribution in the Saudi Arabian economy. Design/Methodology/Approach: The systematic review of literature used due to which, it will be limited in the sense that it might carry forward the mistakes or wrong information presented in the articles or previous studies. Findings: The contribution of SMEs has not received its full potential but it is clear from the findings that they are on the right track. The KSA government has been engaged in various initiatives and programs that will help in boosting the growth of Micro and Small Enterprises. SMEs is the way to help the KSA to get rid of its overreliance on oil sector which is always prone to detrimental challenges due to oil prices fluctuations. Practical Implications: The findings will help the policy makers for bearing on business growth strategy. The recommendation includes the policy measures that promote to take-up business plans and targeted at young generation; larger-sized businesses may have the greatest impact in terms of helping to facilitate business growth along with the help of Saudi Arabian VISION 2030. Originality/Value: This study comes at the right time when the contribution of SMEs is increasing attention globally. It is the right time for Saudi Arabia to focus on SMEs for it successful VISION 2030.

The causes of failure of very small enterprises is a new field of research, especially in Morocco. Indeed, few studies have set out to study it, few studies have set themselves the objective of studying it. This article aims to explain the failure of newly created enterprises, focusing on small businesses. These constitute the absolute majority of the businesses that make up the Moroccan economic fabric. Similarly, studies have shown that the first five years, which corresponds to the start- up period, represent the duration beyond which the majority of the businesses created do not manage to survive. The Success of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Arab States: Jordan as an Example

The study aimed to identify to what extent the small and medium enterprises in the Arab States can success, Jordan addressed as a model, through various financial, regulatory and legislative, technical and administrative difficulties. The study was applied on (73) commercial, industrial and agricultural projects in the Great Municipality of Amman in Jordan, the results of the study was as follows: In relation to the financial difficulties that (61) projects have not suffered from the difficulty in the availability of funding, while the (12) projects have suffered from this difficulty. 1. Regarding the regulatory and legislative difficulties, commercial and industrial projects proved the highest degree of convergent percentages, as well as it was clear that the industrial projects in the sample have faced difficulty in marketing, the projects percentage that have suffered from this difficulty was (26.67%) 2. As for the technical and administrative difficulties, industrial projects have faced the difficulty of lack of experience mostly; they were also characterizing their owners of being either secondary scientific level certificated or higher, with a percentage of (80%).
Small and Medium Enterprises in Yemen: A Financial aspect investigation

This paper attempts to investigate the financial perspective of small and medium enterprises in Yemen with the help of primary data collected from 394 enterprises. Such investigation unveils that the majority of the sampled enterprises (56%) do not have an account in a bank of a financial institution. As for 40% of enterprises, personal relationships are considered the main alternative for collateral to get funds from a third party, plus it is worth mentioning that the third party is not an institution, as SMEs in Yemen depends majorly on self-finance and internal fund sources (52%) while loans from banks and financial institution are the least source (7.4%). Further, The findings show that laws and regulations, collaterals for obtaining loans, lack of capital, and sticking to the budget have a significant impact on SMEs performance in Yemen. While, lack of access to credit, high-interest rates, unforeseen expenses, and complexity of procedures of loan applications are found to have no significant impact on SMEs' performance. Based on the outcome, the study suggests establishing a supervising authority related directly to supporting and directing the sector of SMEs to increases the level of financial inclusion among SMEs in the country which in turn acts as a key factor in pushing SMEs to work forward towards achieving sustainable development goals and economic welfare.
Assessment of Small Enterprise Financing, Case of Jordan
Study Importance: Small enterprises represent the most important pillars of economic development of the most countries of the world, these enterprises account for the highest percentage among all types of enterprises that contribute to the economic productivity. Small enterprises have been the focus and attention of most governments in developing countries due to the role they play in increasing production and employment in addition to their active contribution in increasing the rates of economic growth and national income and their support of the GNP of many countries. Research importance relies in identifying the most obstacles facing small businesses from small entrepreneurs perspective. Study Purpose: That small enterprises form the backbone of the economy in all countries of the world, without exception. This research is an attempt to provide some solutions that may help in addressing the financing problem of small projects, especially in developing countries, identification of the main obstacles that small entrepreneurs face in financing their small projects.

The effect of small and medium-sized enterprises through entrepreneurship, revenue growth and creation of employment opportunities on the global economy is undeniable. Although these enterprises enjoy some strength like flexibility and compatibility in comparison to larger enterprises, they face a lot of problems which have kept their failure rate high. Therefore, in order to have proper and principled policy and plan to achieve economic development it is important to identify the factors affecting the failure of small businesses. This study aims to investigate the effect of two individual factors of ability and motivation on the failure of small and medium-sized businesses by studying 30 unsuccessful companies located in Industrial towns of Guilan province by presenting a questionnaire among managers and employees. In this paper, SPSS16 software was used for data analysis and to access the answers of the research questions. According to the results, the impact of sanctions and inflation on motivation was considered as the most significant motivational factor and lack of resources management and being considerate of other’s abilities were regarded as the most important ability factors.

The majority of Entrepreneurship studies have focused on Business success while little information regarding Business failure exists. However our knowledge of entrepreneurship is not complete without recognition of the business failure. Also, more researches in this field have been done in developed countries and it is limited studies in those countries where economic, social, cultural and political differ. Individual factors are the main ones affecting the entrepreneurial process. This is a study on a sample of new established small businesses in industry sector. First, in qualitative study, interview analysis of 10 semi-structured interviews lead to identified four groups of individual factors including motivations, skills, capabilities, and characteristics. Then, these individual factors have been evaluated in a sample of 158 unsuccessful businesses and data analysis of 52 complete questioners pointed out that "Lack of crisis management skills" and "Lack of marketing, financial and human resource management skills" are the main individual factors affecting business failure in new established small businesses in industry sector.
Small and Medium Enterprises in Yemen: Aiming for resurgence while facing managerial obstacles

This paper empirically investigates the influence of managerial challenges on the performance of small and medium enterprises in Yemen. Based on the primary data collected for the study, the investigation unveils that 24.4% of the enterprises have their employees in decision-making positions; jobs require skills among workers in 53% of the enterprises. Female workers exist in less than half of the sampled enterprises (46%); 35% of enterprises employ one to four female workers. Only 34.3% of enterprises provide training to their workers and employees. 30.7% of enterprises react to problems in the enterprises with an enhancement to its condition to avoid the same in the future. Further, lacking operational experience (Mean = 1.75), training workers (Mean = 1.59) and lacking skilled workforce (Mean = 1.55) are found to be the highest agreed upon challenges among enterprises. Furthermore, the findings indicate the significant effect on SMEs' performance by lacking skilled workforce (β =-0.317), administrative management and making administrative decisions (β =-0.235) lacking networks (β =-0.120), training workers (β = 0.159), and the records control in enterprises (β =-0.199). This promotes the conclusion that SMEs in Yemen require training, consultancy to cope with managerial challenges and develop strategies to improve their organizational performance.
Success Factors for Small and Medium Enterprises in Oman

Small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) and Entrepreneurship are crucial components of any economy. Entrepreneurship thrives in economic systems that support innovation and hard work. Hence, when entrepreneurs become successful, the nation is immensely benefited. The main aim of this study is to examine and compare the factors affecting the success of small and medium scale entrepreneurs in Oman. It is a correlational study between the demographic and business environment related factors that are expected to contribute to the success of small and medium scale entrepreneurs in Oman. Cross-sectional survey with 100 samples was administered. Structured questionnaire was distributed among selected small and medium scale entrepreneurs in Oman. The collected data were analyzed using IBM SPSS software version 20. In addition, descriptive statistics and Chi-square analysis were employed to indicate and test the relationship between the entrepreneur's demographic characteristics and their perception of the factor's level of influence on entrepreneurial success. Hence, the results revealed the presence of positive and strong significant relationship between the entrepreneur's demographic characteristics and its perception level on related factors affecting their overall business success. In addition, the study identified factor/s greatly contributes to an entrepreneur's success as being perceived by the selected respondents of the study.

Small and medium enterprises in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are considered to be of great importance for their contribution to economic activity, as they operate side by side with large companies but are of no less importance, as they accommodate large numbers of workers and thus contribute to reducing unemployment. Small and medium enterprises face problems in the process of raising funds and some legal challenges for obtaining capital to start operations, especially as commercial banks are sometimes reluctant to fund high-risk ventures; the study found that small and medium enterprises contribute significantly to the reduction of unemployment and increase economic development in the Kingdom without affecting inflation.
