This paper presents a specific analytical-imitation model for the devices that determines the natural frequency of oscillatory systems for two devices which was proposed by one of the co-authors, and also traditional devices that are closer in technical aspect to known (prototype) devices. During the researching process of the model additional factors affected on the accuracy of the final result are identified and the analysis of the basic error in determining the natural frequency of the OS, taking into account errors introduced by the composite blocks of the device, are provided. A structural diagram of the model, a flowchart of the algorithm and a tabular data of the research results are given.
The Influence of the Resonant Frequency on the Presence Of Chimera State
The Chimera State could be a result of the interaction between the resonant frequency and the synchronization process in a network of identical oscillators. The target of this paper is to do the numerically investigation of the chimera occurrence in a model with fifteen metronomes on each swing and two coupled swings Therefore, changing the value of metronomes oscillation frequency one can observe the level of synchronization between the two populations of metronomes through the Kuramoto complex order parameter. This analysis was conducted considering three different values of the connecting spring's stiffness among the swings. Thus, a relation between the presence of chimera state and the system resonant frequency was observed.
A Computer Aided Study of Two Perpendicular Harmonic Oscillations of the Same Frequency
Bulletin of the Polytechnic Institute of Iasi, Romania, Section Mathematics. Theoretical Mechanics, Physics, 2016
The goal of this paper is the study of two perpendicular harmonic oscillations of the same frequency using the HTML5 technology and the JavaScript language. With the aid of these technologies we developed the physics simulation for this experimental work. An experimental application is the determination of the speed of sound. This application is the subject of one of the laboratory classes of the Physics I course that is designated to the second semester of the first year at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Building Services of "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iaşi. Using HTML5 and JavaScript language the students will be more motivated to work faster and a deeper understanding of the study of oscillatory motion will be developed. Moreover, the Matlab program is used for making the graphical representations.
