This research was carried out in Rondonopolis city, Mato Grosso state, Brazil to evaluate the water quality of the Furnas Aquifer. It was analyzed 19 parameters, using water samples of twelve wells of the public supply system that explores this aquifer. The results show that the waters are hypothermal; only three samples has pH around 7 (neutral water), and nine samples has pH less than 7 (acid water), but these water are inside limit of groundwater bottled and marketed in Mato Grosso state. Only one sample have concentration of total iron of 1.03 mg/L (above of VMP). The others parameters has concentration compatible with potability standard, showed that the water are of excellent quality. However, is need increase the pH to 7, for that waters been considerate potable. Making pH correction, this water can be used for everything.
