A LOOK ON THE TEACHING ART IN EDUCATION YOUNGSTERS AND ADULTS IN MATO GROSSO STATE (original) (raw)

The scientific paper presents some results of a survey of Master’s Degree course in Education in which we seek to understand how happen pedagogical practices in the teaching of art in Education for Youngsters and Adults in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso. As a methodological procedure, the study was based on qualitative research, descriptive and interpretative character. We have identified a constructivist design in pedagogical practices developed by professor of Arts, based on the Triangular Proposal during the lessons observed in the field of research, highlighting the making, reading and contextualization in classrooms, acting as an important mediator in the construction of knowledge in Art by the student. Some students of the Youngsters and Adults Education showed art concepts that need to be expanded through the knowledge of different artistic languages, as the teacher tried to develop these students the idea that art is an essentially human form of knowledge production and what makes part of their lives and society. And to understand the work, "read" the work of art, make them able to produce meaningful interpretations of reality around her readers. Thus, the concepts and practices produced by students of the art are all relevant, as are constructions of knowledge based on their life experiences.
