* Major US Think Tanks and their View of the Brics* Considered important actors in US political system, think tanks are no longer an exclusive Anglo-saxon phenomenon, becoming a policy institute model worldwide. This work investigates the Brics category as an area of study at Brookings Institution, Council on Foreign Relations and the Center for American Progress. So far, the selected TTs have been highly influential in Mr. Obama’s government. I argue that the room given by TTs to an specific issue may be a valuable indicative of US Foreign Policy current agenda. In this investigation, I will map those TTs’ production during the first half of Mr. Obama’s term (2009-10).
