Concurrent Schedules: Short-and Long-Term Effects of Reinforcers. (original) (raw)
This research investigates the effects of reinforcers on choice behavior through concurrent schedules, emphasizing both short-term and long-term outcomes. Utilizing a generalized matching law framework, the study reveals that behavior is influenced not only by the ratio of reinforcers over extended periods but also by immediate reinforcer effects. Findings suggest a need for integrative approaches that consider both local and molar analyses of behavior to account for the complexities of reinforcement effects.
