The Old Greek translation of Job is evinces a fluid translation technique, whereby G (the translator) has left some autobiographical details in the course of describing Iob's life and dilemma. This paper examines individual passages where these details emerge and offers a summary of them. This paper was read in an IOSCS session at the Annual Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature, in San Antonio, Nov. 19-22, 2016, specifically on the 19th.
