Implementation of Biometric Voting Machine Using Aadhar Card
Today we all know that bogus (fake) voting is still major drawback in the elections. We can transform from ballot paper to electronics voting machine (EVM), but this problem cannot avoid completely. This paper attempt to solve this problem. Today we all have AADHAR CARD so the Government has all the data base of us including finger print and retina. As we all know that general election happened last year but no one really talks about the use of AADHAR CARD. So if we used that database effectively with the help of micro controller then we can completely overcome the problem of bogus voting. This paper shows how this problem can be solved with the help of combination of biometric finger print scanner and micro controller.

SMART VOTING BASED ON RFID AND BIOMETRIC TECHNOLOGY
Electronic vote casting computing device (EVM) is a system that is used to count ballot and file votes instead of doing it manually utilizing human priceless useful resource to file and depend votes. The quite a lot of problems concerning manual counting of votes that it laborious, faulty and time ingesting. This makes the entire process very inefficient. As balloting is a touchy hassle, mismanagement can effect in problems as giant and challenging as political unrest. The debilitating result that political unrest can finally outcomes in wants no describing. Bangladesh, being a constructing nation cannot come up with the money for to be held up in its monetary progress therefore of mismanagement in elections. However, for vigor starved nation like Bangladesh, the hole between demand and give of electrical power stays big. A just right majority of the men and women are disadvantaged of this normal facility. Over dependency on digital devices for touchy services could now not look like a practicable choice both? However, renewable vigor situated programs can also be the procedure to tackling such task. A solar powered EVM addresses the complete above considerations. This paper discusses in element the design of a sunlight powered EVM prototype which is effective and allows the purchaser a remedy from the laborious act of vote assortment and counting. Additionally, it moreover eliminates the blunders from the approach, on account that it is a digital gadget. Some of the central largest problems of EVM is the security system which includes insider threats, community vulnerability and challenges to auditing. To limit these issues the prototype has been developed with a 3 stage defense encryption.

Design of Biometric Electronic Voting Machine
It has always been an arduous task for the election commission to conduct free and fair polls in our country, the largest democracy in the world. Crores of rupees have been spent on this to make sure that the elections are riot free. But, now-a-days it has become common for some forces to indulge in rigging which may eventually lead to a result contrary to the actual verdict given by the people. This paper aims to present a new voting system employing biometrics in order to avoid rigging and to enhance the accuracy and speed of the process. The system uses thumb impression for voter identification as we know that the thumb impression of every human being has a unique pattern. Thus it would have an edge over the present day voting systems. As a pre-poll procedure, a database consisting of the thumb impressions of all the eligible voters in a constituency is created. During elections, the thumb impression of a voter is enteredas input to the system. This is then compared with the available records in the database. If the particular pattern matches with anyone in the available record, access to cast a vote is granted. But in case the pattern doesn't match with the records of the database or in case of repetition, access to cast a vote is denied or the vote gets rejected. All the voting machines are connected in a network, through which data transfer takes place to the main host. The result is instantaneous and counting is done finally at the main host itself. The overall cost for conducting elections gets reduced and so does the maintenance cost of the systems. 1. INTRODUCTION The objective of voting is to allow voters to exercise their right to express their choices regarding specific issues. Technology is being used more and more as a tool to assist voters to cast their votes. The two types systems implemented for voting are: Ballot Box, EVM. Knowing the disadvantages in the previous methods the biometric method of voting is being implemented. In the biometric process we are utilizing the fingerprint authentication of the individual. Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) is a simple electronic device used to record votes in place of ballot papers and boxes which were used earlier in conventional voting system. Fundamental right to vote or simply voting in elections forms the basis of democracy. All earlier elections be it state elections or centre elections a voter used to cast his/her favourite candidate by putting the stamp against his/her name and then folding the ballot paper as per a prescribed method before putting it in the Ballot Box. This is a long, time-consuming process and very much prone to errors. This situation continued till election scene was completely changed by electronic voting machine. No more ballot paper, ballot boxes, stamping, etc. all this condensed into a simple box called ballot unit of the electronic voting machine. Because biometric identifiers cannot be easily misplaced, forged, or shared, they are considered more reliable for person recognition than traditional token or knowledge based methods. The basic point of this system is to examine the fingerprint image of an individual and compare it to a database of the registered fingerprints. They provide a quick, easy, efficient, and secure measure through which, an individual with the exact authentication can only cast the vote.

Voting is one of the fundamental rights of every citizen of a democratic country. By utilizing the right of the voting, people elect their most suitable leader who will lead them. In this modern era where technology is being used in every aspect of life, election is a place to apply the best technology. In this project, we have developed a system which will be suitable for elections in countries like Bangladesh. The usual system for voting in India is a ballot paper-based voting system, where voting is sometimes unfair. In this proposed system we have used an Arduino and Fingerprint Scanner that can identify each voter, count votes and can prevent fake votes. The proposed system is more digital, technology-based and secured system.
Aadhar Based Electronic Voting Machine
Voting is the opportunity given to the people it is one of the political process, and the system is created to work best with everyone’s participation. Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) are being used by Indian election commission to conduct elections for the past decade. In Aadhar based electronic voting machine voters have to register their fingerprint. Based on the features of fingerprint it gets matched with the person who will cast the vote. Finger print matching will be done using the Aadhar card data base. The efficiency of a fingerprint is based on biometric system and is relatively high in comparison to other biometric based authentication systems like iris recognition, face readers, retina scanning, voice recognitions or hand geometry. With the help of keypad matrix voter can select the candidate to whom they wish to cast their vote and a message is displayed in LCD confirming the vote casted.

The focus of this paper is to design and development of a biometric enabled biometric electronic voting machine. The proposed biometric electoral voting system allows the user to scan fingerprint and iris so that his or her credentials can be compared to existing fingerprint and iris images already stored in the system's database. Counting is going on right away, making the voting process more efficient, faster and safer. This system requires the identification of the voter Aadhaar card, the voter's thumb impression as well as the iris image. Voter's complete data, including all voters' fingerprint and iris image, is collected and stored in the database. While voting, the voter gives their Aadhaar card details and puts eye in front of the iris camera and finger inside a fingerprint scanner, the system looks for the seal already provided in the data base, and then compares the iris image to authenticate the voter's identity. If the data matches, the system commands the voter to vote through the electronic voting machine. If the fingerprints do not match, the voting presiding officer looks for the registration, or the iris image does not match after the fingerprint match, the voter is not allowed to vote, consider it vote rigging. KEYWORDS-Electronic voting machine, iris, fingerprint I. INTRODUCTION Now, democracy has become a crucial part of people's lives [3]. The depth of democracy is voting. The voting process must be reliable, and the voting record must be accurately and reasonably recorded. This is often accomplished using a biometric system.
