The problem that is investigated in this research is a error of process writing in student's essay. Analysis view of language error is tended for second language study. This error is more reviewed at study in basic level. Based on the research, the error is divided into six parts, they are: (1) error in using adverb and particle, (2) error in using preposition, (3) error in phrase structure, clause, and sentence, (4) error in using adverbial, (5) error in using conjunction, and (6) error in using pronoun. The errors that is contained in student's essay is more because carelessness, local language interference, and imperfection application. This error is caused because student do not pay attention in making a sentence, especially grammatical. Imperfection of language norms application is also done by students.
