Internet of Stings: Securing Healthcare Records Applying Internet of Things
— This paper investigates the role of Internet of Things(IoT) in securing Electronic Healthcare Records (EHRs). Personal health record (PHR) has emerged as a patient centric model of health information exchange. Day by day health issues and health problem concerns are increasing. So many people are facing health problems and are getting admitted in to the health care centers. So to maintain the details of all the patients in a hospital is a difficult task. Hospitals have to maintain the records of each and every inpatient. In some cases patients may even have to wait for long time to consult the doctor. Also if the concerned doctor is not available in the hospital then the nurses have to call him and ask the related queries according to the inpatients condition. A PHR service allows a patient to create, manage and control her personal health data in one place through the web, which has made the storage, retrieval and sharing of the medical information more efficient. Especially each patient is promised the full control of their medical records and can share her health data with a wide range of users, including healthcare providers, family members or friends. In this paper we provide a description of how the internet of things can be supported to ensure security for distributed health care applications. This paper would promote a lot of research in the area of application of IoT in securing PHRs.

Enhanced Security of the Internet of Medical Things (IOMT)
2018
Healthcare is the major problem that faces the individuals around the world especially oldsters and disables. The development of the object to object technology (Internet of things (IoT)) is improved until it can be used to overcome the healthcare problem. The progress of the IoT extends to help the science in remote healthcare and predict the disease of the patients before it happened. But with these improvements the patient data become in danger because the patient data are sent from patient side over the internet to the physician so it becomes available for any attackers to attack the data and modified or stolen it in its way to the doctor or to the patient. So the healthcare field is having a security and privacy issue. This paper introduces system that can solve this problem by changing the data before it leaves the patient. So the transfer data is secured enough to protect the patients' data. The proposed system using a three technique one for encoding data to change the shape of data and compressed it and one technique for encrypt encoded data with AES but with rotated key and last one for make an authentication mechanism to protect data from output access and permit any person that have username and password credential to access patient's data. The authentication mechanism is built at the website with a private IP the proposed system is developed with low cost hardware to minimize the cost of the product with high efficiency.

Technology plays the major role in healthcare not only for sensory devices but also in communication, recording and display device. It is very important to monitor various medical parameters and post operational days. Hence the latest trend in Healthcare communication method using IOT is adapted. Internet of things serves as a catalyst for the healthcare and plays prominent role in wide range of healthcare applications. In this project the PIC18F46K22 microcontroller is used as a gateway to communicate to the various sensors such as temperature sensor and pulse oximeter sensor. The microcontroller picks up the sensor data and sends it to the network through Wi-Fi and hence provides real time monitoring of the health care parameters for doctors. The data can be accessed anytime by the doctor. The controller is also connected with buzzer to alert the caretaker about variation in sensor output. But the major issue in remote patient monitoring system is that the data as to be securely transmitted to the destination end and provision is made to allow only authorized user to access the data. The security issue is been addressed by transmitting the data through the password protected Wi-Fi module ESP8266 which will be encrypted by standard AES128 and the users/doctor can access the data by logging to the html webpage. At the time of extremity situation alert message is sent to the doctor through GSM module connected to the controller. Hence quick provisional medication can be easily done by this system. This system is efficient with low power consumption capability, easy setup, high performance and time to time response.
