This report addresses the development of shared understandings in e-Science projects, emphasizing the challenges faced in achieving collaboration among distributed, multi-institutional, and multidisciplinary partners. Through case studies of myGrid, preDiCT, and HubLab, the report identifies key factors influencing communication and project cohesion.
