Control roles of Management Accounting in Organisations.doc
In a fast-paced business environment, management requires timely and accurate information that will help them make informed decisions. To survive in the modern competitive markets associated with constantly changing technologies, Ghanbari et al., (2015) suggest that organisations have to employ modern methods to continously enhance control of their operations. This has led to adoption of modern information systems as evidenced by the shift towards management accounting. In particular, management accounting assists in collecting, processing as well as communicating information that assists management for control purposes. These entails controlling people, processes, activities, quality, market, and business units. This essay thus evaluates the argument that management accounting plays crucial control roles that cannot be explained in economic terms only. To achieve this aim, the essay will first evaluate the control roles played by MA. Second, the paper will evaluate whether these control roles offer solutions to problems.
Research of Accounting and Governance
The purpose of this study is to see if operational auditing, internal control, marketing strategy implementation, and sales accounting information systems have an impact on sales effectiveness. The research method employed in this study is quantitative. The data was collected using questionnaires, and the analysis method used was multiple linear regression. According to the findings of the study, operational auditing and accounting information systems have a significant impact on sales effectiveness. Internal control has no effect on the effectiveness of sales. Furthermore, the implementation of marketing strategies has an impact on sales effectiveness, but not significantly.

The accounting studies are divided into two, in general, in the enterprises. These are the extroverted accounting studies and introverted accounting studies. While the terms such as general accounting, financial accounting are used in order to express the extroverted accounting studies, the terms such as cost accounting or management accounting are used in order to express introverted accounting studies. The financial information which is produced in all of the accounting processes is related with a lot of users particularly as the customers. Because the quality of the products which are produced by the company is evaluated by the customers. The performance of the enterprise is measured by means of using the indicators such as service quality, error rate, rate of performing the services in time. What kind of arrangements should be performed in order to cover the customer expectations in a customer focused management system form the internal processes, namely introverted accounting dimension.The in-enterprise process dimension is focused on the internal processes which make the most important influence on the financial purposes of the organization as well as the customer satisfaction. Each enterprise has a unique transaction process with regard to creating values for the customers and obtaining financial profits.The customers and recognizing in-enterprise process dimension are the most important factors in terms of current and future success. It is not possible for the enterprises to meet the internal processes and long term needs of the target capabilities. In addition to this, intensive global competition require the companies, shareholders and customers to improve their capabilities continuously with regard to creating values.Financial, customer and in-enterprise process purposes ensure closing the gaps between the capabilities to be brought by the targeted performance with the present capabilities of the people, systems and processes. While the financial dimension is related with the short term performance, it is also necessary to take up the superiority in the long term financial and competitive performance.
ACCOUNTING CONTROL SYSTEMS AND BUSINESS STRATEGY: AN EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS
Accounting theoreticians have argued that control systems should be modified in accordance with the business strategy of a firm. This study tests this hypothesis by examining differences in accounting control system attributes between two groups of firms following distinctly different strategies. Interview data and questionnaire data are used to provide evidence of the ways in which firms align their control systems and strategy. In addition, preliminary evidence is discussed which suggests a relationship between accounting control systems, business strategy and firm performance.

Determinants of management accounting control system in Malaysian manufacturing Companies
This study examines the level of changes in management accounting practices (MAP) in Malaysian manufacturing companies and investigates the factors determining the change in management accounting and control systems (MACS). The data are collected using a mailed questionnaire survey to manufacturing companies in Klang Valley. Results of this study showed that, the level of management accounting practices in Malaysian manufacturing companies were consistent with the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) frameworks on the management accounting evolution. The results also identified technological advancement and strategic change as important predictors of change in MACS. Taken together, these research outcomes make an incremental contribution to the existing management accounting change literature by providing useful insights into our knowledge of management accounting innovation specifically for developing economies.

The purpose of this study is to determine and study how much influence the sales accounting information system, accounting information system cash receipts on the effectiveness of control of accounts receivable. The population in this study is limited, namely employees of PT Megah Kayu Industri Bandung. The sampling technique was 30 respondents. Data collection techniques used primary and secondary data with the help of SPSS version 20. For windows. From the test results, it can be concluded that the credit sales accounting information system, the cash receipt accounting information system have a partial and joint effect on the effectiveness of controlling accounts.

This paper analyses the development of management accounting practices in Indonesia and the factors that influence its development. The family business character is considered a contingent factor which according to contingency theory shapes the tendency of managerial accounting (MA) practice in Indonesia. The neo-institutional theory is used to explain changes in MA practices from traditional systems to contemporary MA practices. The neo-institutional theory explains the change of practice or system through isomorphism. This paper argues that the change in MA from traditional to contemporary MA in Indonesia occurs mainly through normative isomorphism which is influenced by factors such as: academics, the presence of multinational companies (MNCs) in Indonesia, and technological changes. However, to some extent, mimetic isomorphism also causes changes in MA practices in Indonesia due to environmental uncertainty that creates business competition. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has made the role of MA even more important. It is predicted that changes in MA practices will accelerate in the future. MA will be increasingly integrated with other aspects of the company.
