Els enfrontaments entre l’exèrcit francès i els miquelets comandats per Ramon Sala i Sassala, veguer de Vic, que van tenir lloc durant la campanya de 1695, en el marc de la Guerra dels Nou Anys, foren recollits àmpliament per la premsa publicada a Barcelona. Les notícies impreses que s’han conservat, juntament amb l’estudi de les cartes enviades per les fonts informatives, permet analitzar el procés de producció periodística a l’època moderna i a la vegada mostrar com el virrei de Catalunya va intentar monopolitzar la informació en benefici propi. The making of the journalistic report in Early Modern Age: the processing of information about the veguer of Vic's military campaign of 1695. The clashes between the French army and the miquelets under the command of Ramon Sala i Sassala, veguer of Vic, that took place during the military campaign of 1695, in the Nine Years’ War, were widely explained by the press in Barcelona. The printed news that has been preserved, along with the study of the letters sent by the informative sources, make possible the analysis of the process of news production in the Early Modern Age, and also show how the Viceroy of Catalonia tried to monopolise the information in his own benefit.
