Usability study of youtube websites for Malaysian teenagers
Nowadays, YouTube is the 3 rd most visited website in the world. It was created for users to search, watch and share video. Statistics show that YouTube run in more than 88 countries and support 76 different languages which covered almost 95% of Internet population globally. Therefore, a usability study is for specific type of users such as based on gender, range of age and country is considered a must for this kind of top website. In this study, we focus on YouTube website usability for Malaysian teenagers that are currently schooling in boarding school with limited access of Internet. It was done in a controlled lab environment with proper devices and software as MacBook, LCD Monitor, and WhatPulse heat map tracker. The evaluation was made based on usability metrics: ease of use, usefulness and satisfaction of users with combination of recording videos, mouse and keyboard heat map and questionnaires. Findings show that most of the respondents just use YouTube for video watching only while ignoring other features in the same time. There are difficulties in using it at the first moment but could catch up in short time. It shows how usable YouTube website especially in the learnability and memorability aspects.
Investigating Information Usefulness of Youtube Among Select Unizik Students

The prevalence of YouTube has overwhelmingly expanded globally following its advent in 2005. Globally, opinions differ as to whether YouTube is a very useful information and knowledge source. The potentialities of YouTube offer a participatory, informational and knowledge-filled platform. Despite these potentials, research shows that YouTube in Nigeria does not yet enjoy much patronage. The study was aimed at determining the perceptions of Unizik students towards information usefulness of YouTube. It sought to find out among others the extent of YouTube use among the students and was anchored on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which posits that users will be willing to make use of a new technology if they find it useful and easy to use. The research design was survey and questionnaire served as the measuring instrument. Data were analysed using frequency tables and pie charts. The study found out that 75 percent of students use YouTube to a large extent amidst its challenges and that and that they had positive perceptions towards YouTube as a useful and significant source of information and knowledge. The researchers recommend that government should subsidize the cost of data for accessing the site since the respondents saw it as a major challenge. Also, more research is recommended to find more ways of combating other disclosed challenges such as unavailability of internet connectivity, poor patronage as content creators etc in YouTube use so as to avail students the opportunities of harnessing the potentials YouTube offers.

Covid-19 caused a transformation in the educational aspect. Teachers have difficulty implementing online learning. This is due to the lack of learning media that can facilitate students in learning. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Youtube as an online learning medium. This type of research is qualitative research. The method used in this research is qualitative research methods. The research subjects were three elementary school teachers. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. A System Usability Scale for Development of YouTube API-based E-Learning Module

E-learning is formal and non-formal learning carried out using technology, allowing students and teachers to conduct teaching and learning processes using electronic media. By using the e-learning module, YouTube can be included to create material and to ease learning. However, a lot of educational videos on YouTube cover ground already wellcovered. Accordingly, the audience cannot skip unnecessary things. Therefore, a YouTube API-based e-learning module was built to help users learn the material effectively. A System Usability Scale (SUS) was employed in this study, allowing easier data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis acquired a score of 68 (B), signifying the usefulness of the module. The module provided convenience to the users to grasp the material in a brief time.
UNDERSTANDING THE PERCEPTIONS OF STUDENTS TOWARDS YOUTUBE AS A LEARNING TOOL: AN EMPIRICAL APPROACH
YouTube offers an intuitive addition in the scheme of modern learning environments as it offers highly informative and quality videos free of cost. Nowadays, increasingly educators all over the world are integrating into educational systems, especially online education. YouTube holds the promise of making the learning process enriching and effective. It has been proved time and again that engagement and retention rates have increased to boost the overall effectiveness of a lecture or course. The present research concentrated on empirically understanding and analyzing the perceptions of students towards you tube learning as one best learning tool. The interest and intension of the research is-to study the usefulness, methods of utilization and negative effects towards students' group. Convenience sampling adopted to collect data from 155 respondents who are users and beneficiaries of you tube learning. A five-point Likert scale was used to assess the YouTuber's perception about the usefulness and negative effects of the learners. Descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, and one-way ANOVA was used to assess the collected data. It has been found from the study that place of the origin and useful perception having significant relationship. There is a significant difference between the origin place and the negative effects of utilization as perceived by YouTube learners.
Perception of Preschoolers (3-7 years) on Usage of YouTube in Semarang

This study aims to obtain preliminary data related to children's perceptions of gadgets and YouTube and what content is often watched by children. YouTube is one website on the internet that can be accessed easily to exchange information in the form of videos. Respondents in this study were preschool children, amounting to 30 children (17 girls and 13 men) with a range of 3-7 years in Semarang City. This study uses a qualitative approach. Collecting data in this study uses methods of observation, interviews, drawing and documentation of the work in the form of images of children. The results showed that 96.7% of children felt like using YouTube because they could watch various favorite videos and how to access them was very easy. There are 93.3% of children using smartphones parental to open YouTube and of course with parental supervision. Judging from the picture of the child, there is a tendency with the age of a higher child having the ability to visualize what is watched on YouTube more clearly, when compared to younger children. Content that is often watched by children varies greatly, including Paw Patrol Cartoon (23.3%), Play-doh (20%), Tayo (13.2%), Robocar Poli (10%), Bibo Toys (6.7%), Lego (6.7%), Upin Ipin (6.7%), Tendangan dari Langit (6.7%) and other cartoons (6.7%). With the ease of accessing information on social media such as YouTube, parent policy plays an important role, in addition to the positive side there is also a negative side that can affect children's growth and development. The government is also expected to take a firm stance regarding freedom of access to information that is not child friendly, such as content containing pornography.
The Attitudes of Jordanian School Students towards Using YouTube as a Learning Tool

The present study aimed to identify the attitudes of Jordanian school students towards using YouTube as a tool for learning. A descriptive analytical approach is adopted. Questionnaire forms were distributed to 80 9th grade male students. They were selected from at Al-Jubiha Secondary School for Boys in Amman, Jordan. This study was conducted during the second semester of the academic year (2018-2019). All of the questionnaire forms were retrieved and considered valid for statistical analysis. The response rate is 100%. SPSS was used. It was found that YouTube is highly used by Jordanian school students. It was found that Jordanian school students have positive attitudes towards using YouTube as a tool for learning. It was found that respondents consider YouTube as an effective learning tool. It was found that YouTube improve students' learning experiences and academic performance.

The Pandemic Covid-19 has changed various aspects of human life currently, especially in education. In this Covid-19 pandemic, E-learning users have been increased. Work from home policy from government generates the whole process of learning activities in SMK Negeri 1 Bandung been substituted by an online learning model. E-Learning platform that is widely used is Google Classroom. As a widely used platform, it is necessary to measure the usability of this application. Usability can be measured from the results of the percentage of eligibility obtained based on a questionnaire distributed to users, the questionnaire applied the USE questionnaire method, which contained a series of statements that have been grouped into several aspects of use, i.e., ease of use, ease of learning, satisfaction, and usefulness. A literature review of the YouTube phenomenon and the teaching and learning practices

In the past decade, Internet platforms have undergone a steady and rapid growth. Within this context, their use by young people becomes significative. YouTube is not the exception to this phenomenon, furthermore, it has gained relevance both in quantitative and qualitative terms, that is, in the number of subscribers and visualizations, as well as in the variety of content that it offers. Thus, in order to widen the horizon and understand how young people experience the world, and based on the assumption that platforms are key spaces for this purpose, this work presents a literature review where the most relevant contributions regarding YouTube and its relation to the teaching and learning practices are collected. Finally, based on the vacancies we have identified, we present some considerations that stem from this analysis and offer some possible future lines of investigation.
