Evaluation of Marketing Strategies for Educational Services in Increasing Public Interest

Education today is a necessity for every individual, society, and government. A marketing strategy is a plan carried out by the company in order to achieve its goals. These goals are determined by three elements: consumers, satisfaction, and the marketing mix. Marketing in educational institutions aims to provide information to the public about educational products and differentiate school products from those of other madrasas. This research is a type of qualitative research. The informants in this study were four people, consisting of the principal, vice principal of student affairs, parents of students, and the community around the MINU Tambaksumur Madrasah. The marketing strategy carried out by the MINU Tambaksumur Madrasah is good, boasting several indicators, namely madrasah promotion through social media, excellent programs, student achievement, tuition fees, school infrastructure, learning methods, and learning media used.
Community Needs Assessment as Basis for the Extension Program of Philippine College Foundation

Philippine College Foundation (PCF) has been working to enhance the quality of life of people in the community by delivering practical, relevant, and responsive extension programs. Community extension services facilitate collaborative effort and volunteerism between schools and their surrounding communities. This study examined the needs of the community in Barangay Bangcud, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. Specifically, the survey aimed to ascertain the demographic profile of respondents and assess community needs. This study employed a descriptive mixed method that included a survey questionnaire and interviews with key informants. The study revealed that most of the respondents are between the ages of eighteen and twenty-four, have completed elementary school, and are employed as laborers. The majority of respondents have their own houses, but only a few have toilets. THE COMMUNITY EXTENSION SERVICES PROGRAM OF EARIST-COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The extension arm that is mainly responsible in facilitating, coordinating, networking, organizing, and in preparing the partner communities, institutions, and organizations for the services that are offers based on its mission and expertise. The various units are enjoined to develop programs and projects that are meaningful both for the partner communities. This is done by maximizing student learning and engaging communities through critical collaboration. The concerted effort of the entire academic community hopes to bring about significant and transformative service to the most vulnerable sectors of the society.
Extension and Outreach: Not a Question of If, but How

In this article, the authors develop a conceptual framework for effective extension and outreach. Based on both our experiences and research and those of leading scholars and practitioners in the field, we offer the following ten ideas for thought, debate, discussion, and implementation. Effective extension systems must: be institutionalized, well-defined, and well-funded; address important/contemporary issues/problems; be sufficiently nimble and flexible in order to address emerging issues; be a credible and unbiased source for information/education and solutions/research; understand the needs of its customers; embrace participatory and integrated approaches; recognize that little happens in isolation and create regional/global sustainable partnership/linkages with governments, NGOs, researchers and educators; be excellent stewards of resources acquired; recognize that return on investment (ROI) from its research and outreach must be well-documented; and allow for decentralized decision-making and action when warranted.
The purpose of the study was to evaluate the community outreach activities of a selected Higher Education Institution (HEI) in the level of awareness, implementation, and engagement of the three group of respondents, the selected College students of the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Education, the Faculty, staff and Administrator and the selected residents of the adopted community of the university. It used an quantitative-descriptive design. A three-part self-made questionnaires were given to the respondents. Both descriptive and inferential measures were utilized in the treatment of data such as frequency count, percentage, mean, ranking, analysis of variance, and applicable multiple comparisons or post-hoc tests. The analysis of variance manifested a significant difference among the three respondents in the three areas of concerns, namely, the level of awareness, implementation, and engagement. The post hoc analysis further showed the group of faculty, staff and administrator caused the significant difference to the two other groups of respondents. A Community Extension Services Plan was developed to address this issue that will cater to more collaborative extensions services of the university.

In the dynamic landscape of education, where the winds of change constantly blow through the traditional structures, a promising avenue for transformative evolution emerges at the intersection of pedagogy and social marketing. As we navigate the multifaceted challenges woven into the fabric of society, the symbiotic relationship between education and social marketing takes center stage. Quantitative data from surveys will be analyzed using statistical techniques to identify patterns, correlations, and trends. Qualitative data from interviews and community workshops will undergo thematic analysis to uncover recurring themes and nuanced insights. The triangulation of findings from multiple sources will enhance the validity and reliability of the results. The synergy between pedagogy and social marketing represents a paradigm shift in how we conceptualize and approach education. The fusion of pedagogy and social marketing underscores the need for integrated professional development programs for educators. Institutions should design collaborative professional development programs that bring together educators and marketers.

Measuring the Impact of a Community Extension Program in the Philippines

Purpose-This study was designed to create platforms to train students in higher education to be caring and responsible citizens. This was an extension mission that aimed to tap into the expertise of academe and its knowledge to help the community. Based on the framework of academic of community empowerment, the researchers measured the long-term impact of a 44-month community extension program in the Philippines. The extension program described in this study was implemented between March 2009 and December 2015 to address the capacity-building needs of a low-income community. This paper highlights some key development activities which includes partnership with local government, training needs assessment through grassroots-level participation and design of practical education-training programs. Methodology-The study followed a descriptive research design. The Community Outcome Scale (COS) was developed to measure perceived knowledge, attitude, and lifestyle of the beneficiaries. Fifty-four community residents were purposively selected based on their attendance to the community-based education and training programs. The ANOVA method with post hoc analysis was employed to determine the differences between perceived knowledge, attitude, and lifestyle among residents, stratified according to the degree of completion of the training programs.
Community Outreach Programs and Extension Services of the Pangasinan State University
According to Presidential Decree (PD) Number 1497, one of the main roles of Pangasinan State University (PSU) was expansion, along with teaching, study, and income generation programs. PSU's extension services offer ongoing guidance and assistance to growers, out-of-school teens, unemployed parents, mothers, women's groups, and others, indigenous communities, fisherfolk, entrepreneurs, students, and other sectoral classes contribute to socioeconomic growth and mobilization at the grassroots levels for long-term development. The following are the general sectors of the University Extension Services Agenda on which each department on campus can focus their extension-related activities: Poverty alleviation; quality education; gender equality and empowerment; sustainable agriculture; engineering, communications, and technology; health care; climate change and environmental protection; food security; and human resources; Policy and Governance; Business and Finance; and Technology Promotion this research aimed to establish PSU's community outreach projects and extension services for the 2019-2020 academic year. A cross-sectional sample analysis method was used for the quantitative descriptive report. The origins included 20 Extension Services Coordinators from various departments and 100 faculty-implementers from PSU. The questionnaire was the primary research tool. The Average Weighted Mean (AWM) and z-test were used as statistical instruments in the analysis. Based on the results, the following conclusions are reached: The coordinators and faculty-implementers of PSU refer to the demand for social transition to effect reform and improve community life. The views of the initiated and applied variety of extension programs and facilities differ between coordinators and facultyimplementers. Because of the perceived relatively severe crisis, the university decided to implement a tracking and assessment tool for community outreach activities and extension resources. Coordinators and faculty-implementers face similar challenges when implementing community outreach projects and extension facilities. The community outreach program strategy is useful in putting community outreach projects and extension resources into action. Based on the findings, the following recommendations are made: PSU coordinators and faculty implementers can continue to implement community outreach activities and extension facilities on a large scale. To have a broader effect on the communities, the university's core community outreach projects and extension facilities should be strengthened and intensified. The University should form a monitoring and assessment committee to develop a method of evaluation and recommendations for community outreach projects and extension resources. The neighborhood outreach initiative plan should be strictly monitored when it is applied.
Basis for a Community Enhancement Program
This study aimed to assess the extension programs and services of the Ifugao State University (IFSU) along education, livelihood generation, health and wellness, good governance and peace & order, environmental awareness and protection, and organizational linkages during the School Year 2012-2015. This is a descriptive research using a questionnaire to gather data. Frequency, mean and t-test were used as statistical tools. There were 23 implementers and 210 beneficiaries who were utilized as respondents in the study. Results showed that the extension programs and services of IFSU were perceived by the implementers as " less implemented " , while the beneficiaries perceived them as " implemented ". The two groups of respondents were " involved ". A significant difference existed in the ratings between the two groups of respondents on the implementation of all extension programs and services with the exception of environmental management. Meanwhile, there was no significant difference in the perception of both respondents on their involvement in extension programs and services along livelihood generation, good governance, peace and order, and organizational linkages. Implementers and beneficiaries both considered the item " there is no proper monitoring and evaluation of the extension projects conducted " as the most encountered problem in the implementation of University extension programs and projects.
