THE POSSIBLE THIRD MIGRATION PATH FROM ISTANBUL MARITIME PALEOCULTURE SIMILARITIES WITH ÇATALHÖYÜK AND GÖBEKLİTEPE CULTURES (original) (raw)
In fact, I don’t need to continue my research throught these migration theories. The discovery of Istanbul Maritime PaleoCulture is so important and marvelous. The oldest findings of Humanity are here. These discoveries are enough to be satisfied and proudful. But, Science takes me. Scientific curiosity and wanting to solve “What happened in the past of humanity?” question causes the research to continue throught these similar paleolithic cultures and possible paleolithic migration paths from Istanbul Maritime PaleoCulture. When we look these three paleolithic cultures. We see approximately same time period: 12.000 years ago. Americas’ Clovis Culture : approximately 12.000 BP Last Cro-Magnon wave, Solutrean Culture : approximately 12.000 BP Göbeklitepe : approximately 12.000 BP (Before Present) We examined two of these migration branches in the article 6 and the article 7. Before us, and without knowing “The Discovery of Istanbul Maritime PaleoCulture” and “The Theory of 3 Migration branches from Paleolithic Istanbul" , There were some theories which tried to connect double by double these there migrated cultures which belongs to approximately 12.000 years ago, . 1. Clovis Migration Path to Americas 2. Cro-Magnon Culture in France and Spain 3. Göbeklitepe Culture in Turkey The similarities of these cultures examined double by double in some articles. Now, These are uniting here by means of “The Discovery of Istanbul Maritime PaleoCulture” and our articles about this research. So what happened in Marmara Region/Anatolia 12.000 years ago? What caused these last paleolithic migrations? Are These 3 Paleolithic Migrations related with “Clovis-Comet Hyphotesis”? I have no doubth about the first migration path “The first Paleolithic Indians of Americas ” which was examined in my 6th article.. This paleolithic migration path has enough evidences. 6 same point (arrowhead/spearhead) geometries, especially Istanbul Clovis Point and Istanbul/Ohio type Blunt point gave us this conclusion. Because these two point geometries are so specific. There are no these kind of point geometries which have these similarities in anywhere in the world except Americas and Kadıköy(Chalcedon)/Istanbul. The purest paleolithic migration branch from Istanbul is Çatalhöyük –Göbeklitepe cultures in terms of same point geometries. But Anatolia is still unknown region for paleolithic era. There could be undiscovered and unexcavated paleolithic sites in Anatolia. Newly founded Göbeklitepe gives us this clue. We will see angled spearheads which they said that “There is no this kind of point”. We will see this kind of spearheads both from previous accepted samples such as Van(Anatolia) Angled Point and Diyarbakır(Anatolia) Körtik Tepe Angled Point and from The points of Istanbul Maritime PaleoCulture. Every year, New artifacts, which take the oldest limits hundreds of thousands years ago from previous knowledge, have been founded in Archaeology. Therefore, We can’t limit the dates of oldest artifacts. And, We should read so much. We should read close fields to our research fields. We should see a lot of samples such as arrowheads, spearheads and other artifact samples. We should be curious in our researchs, in our jobs. There is another reason of “lack of knowledge” in this field. There is no sufficient publication of artifacts. For example.. Where are the photographs of 200 finding of İstanbul Yarımburgaz Cave? You could only see the photographs of 6-7 samples of Yarımburgaz Cave which was dated 400.000 years ago.. Is there any cataloge of these findings..No. And, where are the photographs of 2000 figurines of Çatalhöyük? Is there any catalogue of these figurines. No. In a similar way, Is there any catalogue of points of Göbeklitepe. No. If we have a catalogue of Göbeklitepe points, We could find more similar point geometry types and similar points. I said this reality in the İstanbul Archaeology Museum. They said that “copyrights”. I published a lot of artifacts that I found in İstanbul. These artifacts have also copyrights. But I published my findings without any income in my own pages. I published approximately 100 artifacts until now without no income. They have salaries and research funds, but There is no enough artifact’s photograph publication. In this field, American Indian artifacts are so rich. There are a lot of point photographs of American Indians. Meanwhile, İTÜ (İstanbul Technical University) Rectorship still hasn’t give an answer about our proposal of “Establishing A Technical based Inscription Science and Archaeology Research Institute”. We need to apply some technical measurements such as material determinations with XRF (X Ray Fluorescence) and archaeological datings. And We need to educate the academicians to supply continuity/stability in this research and field. İTÜ Rectorship should give their answer as soon as possible. And We should start to realize The Project of “Establishing A Technical based Inscription Science and Archaeology Research Institute” which was prepared. Humanity waits the results of these technical measurements. This became a slogan. We are repeating our slogan here “Humanity waits". N.Derya Varol 2nd of April 2018 İstanbul
