Smart Education with Smart Phones: A Case Study of Bahawalpur

Education plays a vital role in the development of every country in this world. Although, it is a fundamental right of every citizen of the country to acquire education and it is also the responsibility of the governments to provide and create such opportunities to obtain an education. But unfortunately, the governments of developing countries are failed to deliver a strong policy on “education for all”, due to their financial constraints and lack of infrastructural planning. In order to address this issue, Smartphones are used to spread education in these areas. In this research paper, we propose a solution based on the application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) such as Smartphone which provides an opportunity to spread education sitting at distinct places where it is even difficult to establish a school. Moreover, a comparison is drawn between the traditional and the proposed model.

The Application Of Smart Devices In Teaching Students With Special Needs

Smart devices such as smart phones and tablets have become part and parcel of our lives in recent years. The effects of these new smart devices can been seen everywhere. Students, especially, use these devices in their daily learning process and the application of these tools will be more and more important in the following years. Therefore, it's very important to keep students' attention continuous with the assist of these smart devices. Smart devices help students to study anytime in anywhere, so students learn whenever they want without any limitations. These roles also help students to keep in touch with their teachers. It will also help them to be integrated in social life more easily. This study is about developing a complete software tool to be used in the education of students who need special education. The software is designed for smart devices such as smart phones and tablets. Students who are mentally handicapped may get benefit of using this software for a complete learning session or as a supporting tool. The software is developed on Android platform. In the current version, the concepts of "less" and "more" are considered. The target students are Turkish students who need special education. INTRODUCTION Mobile applications become more popular with the rapid development of mobile technology. The educational software development also benefit from this rapid development of mobile technology. It is possible to support the face-to-face education with the computer aided tools. Moreover, mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets are available today for educational purposes. Thus, there is a need for effective software and tools to make these devices useful for education.

Mobile devices on teaching-learning process for high school level

The objective of the study is to describe the main characteristics and use of mobile technology as a fundamental element in the construction of knowledge, with the use of technologies the possibilities of interacting with students and teachers are increased without the obligation of physical presence, improving communication between high school students. In today's society in continuous growth, technological progress appears to give clear answers to computer advances and communications. That is why today mobile technologies appear giving way to a new social, cultural and educational model. The article creates theoretical conceptualizations in the use of mobile devices in high school, the current impact on the practice of these terminals in regular education at the Baccalaureate levels. The devices are really becoming tools available to teachers and students in order to improve their teaching practices, consult, research and access information from anywhere on the planet at any time in all sectors of society.
