Turkish Studies ARAP, FARS VE TÜRK EDEBİYATLARINDA EL-FEREC BA'DE'Ş-ŞİDDE HİKÂYELERİ (original) (raw)
Recently many studies are done on Classical Literary products. Especially some of these works were rewritten several times in different periods by changing some items in the original works by the writers from the different countries. In this framework a common dimension occured among those writings. "Al Faraj ba'd al-shiddah " is the name of the literary collection which consists of the stories which have been transmitted from Arabic Literature to Persian Literature and from the Persian Literature to Turkish Literature with the same name. Al-Faraj Ba'd al-Shiddah (Relief after Grief) means "easiness after difficulties or spaciousness after troubles." These stories are always concluded with happiness. In other words they have happy ends. With these features these kinds of stories give us several messages. According to these messages we must be strong against the difficulties which we face to. We shouldn't lose our hopes. In our hard days God helps cope to our problems and he always shows us the right way. In Arabic Literature the first Al-Faraj Ba'd al-Shiddah stories belong to Abû al-Hasan Alî b. Muhammad al-Madâ'inî (225/839) unfurtunately they haven't been reached us. After that Abu'l Qasem Al-Tanûkhî (327-348/ 938-994) write Al-Faraj Ba'd al-Shidde stories and it's preface he mentioned Abu'l Hasan's stories. Ibn Abî Al-Dunyâ is the other writer who wrote the stories understand the same name. This article objects to demonstrate the occurance of these stories which are called Al Faraj Ba'd al-Shiddah in Arabic, Persian and Turkish Literature and historical developments of these stories and their general features. My objection is also to demonstrate the appearences of these stories in the different literatures. Although these stories have the same name in Arabic, Persian and Turkish Literature, by comparing these stories we can see the similarities and the differences among them so the rising of this stories since their arising in Arabic Literature will be seen.
