Complete edition, translation into Spanish and commentary of an almost unknown Byzantine treatise, which dates back to the early fourteenth century, called De Ulixis Erroribus. De Ulixis Erroribus is divided into eleven chapters and, inside every one of them, the author introduces a paraphrase, which summarizes the original narration of Homer’s Odyssey and, then, originates an allegorical interpretation. This way, the Cyclops’s behavior, the impiety with the Cattle of Helios, Circe, Calypso and the Sirens become a symbol of the pleasures and the temptations against which Odysseus resists during his journey.
