This paper publishes preliminary results of a study undertaken at Gorodische 11 km, in the Leninsky Region of Crimea. During the studies, three excavations, totalling 16,520 square metres, were undertaken. The study permitted clarification of the chronology of the settlement’s life. The earliest layers date to the Mid-Bronze Age, with the bulk of archaeological material and open structures dating to the Roman era, and can be dated to the 1st or 2nd cen-turies AD. Cultural layers from the Hellenistic period (4th and 3rd centuries BC), the Medieval period (Khazar era) and modern times (mid-19th centuries) were also uncovered. A group of late-Roman burials was discovered. The mate-rial comprises a large number of individual items (fragments of terracotta figurines, anthropomorphic bronze figures, ceramic oil lamps, collection of coins, etc) in addition to mass material finds – fragments of molded pottery of the Bronze Age, anthropomorphic bronze figures, ceramic oil-lamps, collections of coins) in addition to mass fragments of molded Bronze-age pottery, amphorae fragments, and red-clay vessels from the Roman era.
