The Balanced Scorecard is a useful tool for managing, translating the strategy in related objectives, measured through indicators related to the action plans, allowing improve productivity and reduce production costs. This management tool was implemented in a Peruvian industrial company Screen printing inks, with favorable productivity and costs results, it shows that not only large companies can use this kind of management tools, also medium and small companies can successfully implement the Balanced Scorecard, it is necessary to identify the critical success factors related to the increase in production costs from the perspective of internal processes, and from there, develop strategic indicators for the four perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard, to improve productivity in the company.
