The goal of this paper is to research and analyse religious tolerance and its forms through the content analysis method. In this respect, the subject of analysis is the press of the traditional religious communities in Vojvodina. Before we approach the empirical research itself, we will devote our attention to the term tolerance and, inter alia, contributions of John Locke and John Rawls. Thereupon we will analyse the social context of the religious tolerance, that is, beginnings of the desecularization processes. Following the disintegration of SFRY, and in the light of the new social circumstances, the religious communities have gained new social status and new social role. When we make an outline of the social context, we will review the religious communities and their press media that are the subject of our analysis. The next section of the paper deals with the Methodological framework of the analysis, providing the overview of the content analysis method and its application in sociology. Providing that the method has not been sufficiently applied in contemporary national sociology, and subsequently in its subdomain such as sociology of religion either, we will give some examples from the history of sociology where the method has been successfully applied: The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism, by Max Weber, and Social and Cultural Dynamics, by Pitirim Sorokin. Thereupon, we will determine the structure of the social communication, and introduce the method we will use to approach the analysis of the religious press content. The Empirical section of the paper will encompass both quantitative and qualitative levels of the research results. We will address various forms of religious tolerance for each of the analysed papers. The forms of the religious tolerance depend on the relations between the given religious community and the society, other churches, towards modernisation etc. In Theoretical reviews section, we will try to understand some of the main experiential findings on religious tolerance by associating them with specific theoretical frameworks. In this respect, we will deal with the Kosovo issue, relation between Communism and religion, religion and national identity, and conflicts between the Serbian Orthodox and Rimo-Catholic churches, as well as the relation between modernisation and traditional religious communities. All the above topics will be considered in the context of the religious tolerance. At the end of the paper we will devote our attention to the meanings of religious tolerance, and thereupon present our findings on religious tolerance and its forms, which we obtained through our research of the religious press.
