Evaluation of Charismatic Leader of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman

The aim of the present study is to evaluate the charismatic leadership quality of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. This study was carried out by descriptive qualitative research techniques. The result revealed that Sheikh Mujib was stimulated people by his charismatic leadership capability and huge political knowledge. From his early life he was demonstrated two key leadership qualities which make him unquestionable leader of the Bangladesh. One key quality was proactive social consciousness and paramount dedication for politics. Sheikh Mujib has so many leadership skills that recognized him as a leader of general people. His aspiration and sacrifice for nation made him an icon of the country. Therefore, it can be concluded that his leadership trait made himself as a father of the nation

The Liberation War of Bangladesh

Bangladeshi people fought and gained their freedom against Pakistani military rulers after 9 months of a bloody sacrifice. The word liberation means freedom and this freedom cost Bangladesh 3 million martyrs life. The liberation war of Bangladesh and getting independence from Pakistan is the remarkable achievement for the Bangladeshi people. Besides liberation war in 1971 is the key to the unity of the people of Bangladesh. For being a remarkable achievement and key to unity for the Bangladeshi people it has some historical background.

There was a time when all efforts were made to erase the word "Bangla" from this land and its map. The existence of the word "Bangla" was found nowhere except in the term Bay of Bengal. It was Sheikh Mujibur Rahman who held the existence of Bengali and established a nation with the cost of 9 months bloodshed. It was light unto the future. A nation was coming of age. A leader had arrived.

The Role of Comparative Law in the Making of the Constitution of Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh

After being subjected to a brutal genocide and fighting a nine months long war, the people of Bangladesh achieved their long deserved independence on 16th December, 1971. This glory became even more significant when the elected representatives of our people completed framing a brand new Constitution at a record speed and adopted it on 4 th November, 1972. It is widely acknowledged that, behind achieving this success, a historical struggle for independence by our people, continuing through centuries played the major role. This article claims that alongside those historical reasons, the factors of comparative law were at play too in shaping this achievement. A close analysis of the drafting stage of the Constitution of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh leads to prove a relationship between the aims of comparative law and the enactment of our historic Constitution.

Religion and Politics: Bangladesh Perspective International Journal of Management and Humanities (IJMH)

Political use of religion is a common feature in Indian subcontinent from the very time of the advent of the Aryans. They used religion as a political weapon and their seed has become like a Banyan tree. And that's why still today, Bangladesh, Pakistan and India all are suffering due to religion based politics. It is considered as the most important element of communalism. But in Bangladesh communalism was not acute in ancient period. During the last phase of the British period and more especially in Pakistan period, religion became the most powerful weapon for the ruling class. The birth of Muslim League and the technical transformation of Congress tenderness towards Hindus during British period were based on religion. The Pakistani rulers tried to use religion as the handmaiden of oppression. So, being aware of the devastating fact of the use of religion in politics, the then Awami League had to take decision considering a very sensitive issue whether religion based politics should be banned or not. The present article emphasizes the main issues of the roots of the political usage of religion in Bangladesh and its implications in the social phenomenon.
