Sub-Culture of Juvenile Delinquency in India
Juvenile delinquency is one the major problem to which India is subjected to, a social evil that put the future of the country at stake. This article deals with the nature of the origin of delinquent activities and the stages at which it takes place with perspective to Durkheim's theory of " suicide ". If the nature and the origin of a juvenile is understood than it is more beneficial to construct an approach not just to cure the social evil of delinquencies but also to campaign some preventions measure so as to stop such activities from its very root of origin. This article focused on such approach along with a logistic understanding of the nature of the origin and culture of juvenile delinquencies.

The paper researches the various reasons that lead to delinquency, especially in a developing economy facing a large extent of inequalities concerning the environment, expectations of the youth as well as parents, along with an underlying impact of school influence. Besides just grappling with the above issues, there could be certain medical reasons concerning the brain that could lead to an increase in this phenomenon. A holistic approach must be adopted by all stakeholders. Research question: This paper is an attempt to understand the reasons behind the increasing incidents of juvenile delinquency throughout the world. It is being felt increasingly in India as well. For the betterment of society, a serious attempt has to be undertaken to understand the reasons behind this abnormal behaviour and if it is possible for it to be addressed at an early stage so that the world can be a safer place for all.

Juvenile delinquency is an enormous problem in India by which most of the youth ruin their lives. On account of adolescent wrongdoing and relate issues youth, their families and the whole society endure numerous fallouts. Besides the fact that the issue influences the survivors of the wrongdoing; it additionally influences the adolescent reprobates family, The most significant result of violations perpetrated by adolescents conveys due to financial and mental issues which consider their relatives and the general public. The primary goal of this paper is to concentrate on the frequency of adolescent misconduct regarding mental viewpoints. Juvenile Delinquency in India: A study
Juvenile delinquency refers to the antisocial behaviour of children under the age of 18 years. The term juvenile delinquency refers to the socially disapproved behaviour because in this stage a lot of physiological and psychological changes happen in the body of the individuals living in the society. Due to these changes some of the children fail to balance their life and behaviour and there is a fair chance to engage in antisocial activities. Therefore the present attempt is an effort to study the incidence of crime committed by the juvenile delinquents, their family background and educational status in different states of India and particular in Haryana in the year of 2014 to 2016. The researchers have used the secondary data from the report of Crime Bureau of India, 2016. The result of the study indicates that the highest rate of crime was found in Delhi and lowest rate of crime was found in Meghalaya state. The Haryana state was on the ninth position in the crime committed by the juveniles. The result of the study further found that majority of the juveniles were educated and living with their parents and guardians. Only a few of them were homeless, which shows that our socialization pattern is not upto the mark. It is a matter of great debate and discussion which has forced the society members to think where we are lacking in given proper socialization to them. In nutshell, our educational institutions and family environment should be peaceful, happy, and prosperous to provide healthy socialization to the juveniles. Majority of the juvenile delinquents were literate and living with their parents. Only few respondents were living with their guardian and homeless.
Juvenile Delinquency in India- Latest Trends and Entailing Amendments in Juvenile Justice Act

Juvenile delinquency is a serious offence and it is detrimental for the social order in any country. There is a trend of increase in juvenile crimes world-over, with more and more involvement of the youth in violent crimes. India shows similar trends of increasing rate of violent crimes committed by the juveniles. It is a very serious concern for the nation and solutions to end the problem need to be sought very carefully. Indian legal system and judiciary has responded to these trends and has brought some amendments in the laws pertaining to juvenile justice in India. This paper aims at looking at the causes of juvenile delinquency and explanations given by scholars from various fields to explain the problem. The analysis of statistical data available at official sites indicates increasing involvement of the juveniles in heinous crimes. To contain the problem of juvenile delinquency in India, the Act pertaining to Juvenile Delinquency has been amended and now trial of juveniles involved in heinous crimes is held as adults.

But since last decade there is a huge increase in the rate of Juvenile crime in a developing country like India. Today, Juvenile crime is like a disease in our society. This paper starts with describing the concept of Juvenile Delinquency; evolution of Juvenile Justice Legislation, before and after 1986. Inspite of the presence of that welfare law for such children, there is a rise in the number of Juvenile offenders across the country. The paper also tries to find out the causes of Juvenile Crimes in our society. Preventive measures of Juvenile Crimes are also provided so that children should not convert into a hardened criminal.
Research Paper on Comparitive Study Of Juvenile Delinquency
Contemporary World has seen increase in the rate of crime committed by juveniles which is a very serious problem especially in India as these juveniles are the future of their respective countries. More and more children are moving towards the pathway of crime to lead their life. Various factors are responsible for this approach of juveniles. This research looks at all the aspects of Juvenile Delinquency in the Major Countries and steps taken by these countries to curb the offences committed by juveniles and further to compare their laws made to deal with juveniles with respect to India. This research also aims at studying the major differences between the Juvenile Justice Act, 2000 and that of Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 which has been recently passed in the Parliament. The goal of the research is to get the best way to deal with juveniles by comparative study among the major countries.

For children today, traditional patterns guiding the relationships with family, peer, work and environment are being challenged. Social relations that ensure a smooth process of socialization are rare. Young people are exposed to changes in the lifestyle, leisure activities, labor market, and opportunities to become independent adults, educational opportunities and so on. It is not only developed nations that are facing this situation; in developing countries as well there are new pressures on people undergoing the transition from childhood to independence. For the purpose analysis is made at different levels. First, at the Individual level it examines the routine activities and characteristics of individual. Secondly, at the Familial level relationship ties and family environment are examined. Lastly, at the Societal level, the societal characteristics such as social cohesiveness and social disorganization are examined. This chapter is divided into two parts. The first part presents an interpretation and analysis of data which was obtained through interviewing the inmates of the various Observation and Special Homes of New Delhi. Respondents are divided on the basis of age and gender and their responses are analyzed in this context. The second part consists of the suggestions of the Informants for the prevention of juvenile delinquency. Individual Level Nature of Deviance: Today Juvenile crime is more noticeable. Mostly occurring on the streets where the young attempts to survive without family or societal support. The media too, has played a major role in portraying juveniles in conflict with law as the perpetrators of barbaric acts who get away lightly due to their age. Cases involving juveniles have shown a steady increase. In 2013, most juveniles were charged with theft as has been the trend. However, unlike 2012 they were found to be involved in more rape cases than murders (Jha, 2013). In 2014 also highest share of cases registered against juveniles were reported under the crime head 'theft' followed by rape and grievous hurt and assault on women (Hindustan Times, 24 th December, 2015). FACTORS AND PATTERNS ASSOCIATED WITH JUVENILE DELINQUENCY WITH REFERENCE TO JUVENILE CRIMES IN INDIA

Objectives: This study aims to examine the patterns in juvenile delinquency based on factors including age, gender, offence type, and characteristics used in NCRB reports and to comprehend the various factors that contribute to juvenile crime. Methods: This study was done using the secondary data which was collected from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) reports in the year of 2017 to 2021 by the Government of India. Result and discussion: The analysis of the aforementioned data reveals that there is a higher level of juvenile crimes in India especially in various states. It also shows that a significant proportion of juvenile individuals have unfortunately fallen victim to a multitude of socioeconomic pressures, including poverty, inadequate parental guidance, limited access to education, and the influence of peer groups. The crime rate in India has exhibited a notable upward trend over the years, accompanied by a concerning decline in the rate of convictions. Conclusion: The issue of juvenile delinquency necessitates focused consideration and an approach that prioritizes the well-being of children, with an emphasis on safeguarding and proactive measures to prevent their involvement in deviant behaviour. Research Implications: The findings can have implications for policymakers and educators in the realm of pedagogy development. Additionally, it bears relevance for family members and other stakeholders who play a crucial role in fostering the comprehensive growth and development of children.
Juvenile Delinquency in India: Incidences and Forecasting
Juvenile in conflict with law is a matter of grave concern as this age group people belong to the most productive period of life. This phase is undoubtedly very fragile, and has severe consequences, which may last for long. The involvement of juveniles in any kind of delinquencies is indeed disheartening. There are multiple reasons, and so the nature of crime is. In this paper, it has been tried to cover the incidences of juvenile delinquencies in India for a given period of time. A detail account of such cases has been provided, giving an insight into the type of offences juveniles have been committing over the years. Moreover, an attempt has been made to forecast cases in this line for understanding future trend.
