Urgency of the research. The issue of a pneumatic car-air car developing is very important nowadays, as the environment is threatened by a variety of emissions from cars. The decision has to be made. There are various alternatives to internal combustion engines, and one of them is compressed air engines. Target setting. The main goal is to develop a car that runs on compressed air and create a frame that matches the dimensions specified for the competition. Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. In recent years, Aventics has organized competitions and races on pneumatic vehicles. These races have been running by Emerson for thirteen years. The pneumatic cars had to take part in all categories of competitions. We have been dealing with this issue in Slovakia for the third year, and this pneumatic car is our third model. Uninvestigated parts of general matters defining. This article describes a car that runs on compressed air, as well as describes in more detail the frame used and its design features. The research objective. The purpose of this study is to analyze the pneumatic vehicle, its parts and to give a detailed description of the manufactured frame and its properties. The corresponding frame was made on the basis of the conditions determined by Emerson's competitions. The statement of basic materials. The analysis was conducted on the basis of the terms of the competition. These conditions are determined by the maximum and minimum dimensions of the car. Based on these conditions, a frame was developed, it was previously analyzed by FEA-MKP. The description of the frame is given below. Conclusions. This article describes the design of a pneumatic car for competitions. The competition focus is cars powered by compressed air. The pneumatic cars were developed by bachelors and technical school. The design of this car has passed the initial inspection and has been approved by the organizers of the competition.

Now days the world faces fuel crisis and pollution problem. Also the conventional fuels are about to end in some years. This necessitates the search for alternative fuels. Compressed air is one of the best alternative fuels which are easily available in atmosphere in abundant form. The main objective of this project is to reduce dependency of vehicle on conventional fuel. The air car is a car currently being developed which is still in the R&D stage all over the world. Compressed air is stored in storage tank with some modifications from the compressor. The running and maintenance cost for air car is less than conventional cars. This is a revolutionary design which is not only ecofriendly, pollution free but also very economical. With some modifications in storage tank, pneumatic cylinder, materials used for chassis it is possible to increase the performance of vehicle.

In the present scenario of world, the engineers having the challenges to find the different ways drive efficient by using the alternative energy sources which are the eco-friendly to environment. The compressed air is used as a source for various operations in the industry and also having the ennivormental friendly. So, the engineers are focused on the compressed air as non-polluting fuel for the vehicles which is termed as pneumatic cars. This paper describes the brief introduction to latest development of pneumatic cars, the efficiency and properties of the compressed air with respect to enthalpy, internal energy, density of the compressed air. The working of the pneumatic car, with the use of the pneumatic actuators that creates useful work by expanding the compressed air, electronic component with simple mechanism. Hence, the pneumatic cars are affordable, safe and future of the automobile industry.

Study and Fabrication of Compressed Air Engine
As the world is hard pressed with the energy and fuel crises, compounded by pollution of all kinds, any technologies that bring out the solutions to this problem is considered as a bounty. In one of such new technologies, is the development of a new engine called as compressed air engine which does not require any of the known fuels like diesel, petrol, CNG, LPG, hydrogen etc. this works using only compressed air. This replaces all types of to-date known fuels and also permanently solves the problems of pollution as its exhaust is clean and cool measured practically as low as 5ºC. A proto type, a horizontal, single cylinder low speed engine was modified to run on compressed air. Since this engine runs only on high pressure compressed air, the exhaust of which is undoubtedly only air, making it a zero pollution engine. No heat is generated because there is no combustion of fuel, hence this engine needs no cooling system and it result in reduced cost, weight, volume and vibration. Early cost analysis shows that it's very cost effective and the operational cost is ten times less than that of petrol or diesel. Experimental analysis were carried out on this modified engine to find out its performance characteristics like brake power, mechanical efficiency, overall efficiency, air to Air ratio, volumetric efficiency, cost analysis etc. Though the efficiencies were low as the frictional forces were high for the proto designed engine, however the concept can be applied on a professionally designed engine to improve its performance.

Compressed Air Hybrid Vehicle is powered by two forms of Energy such as Pneumatic and Electrical. Efforts are being made by many developers and manufacturers to have a developed vehicle technology. So the new age of vehicle such as hybrid vehicle is necessary. The Electrical energy is provided by means of solar cells to battery and then to the electric motor. In the Electric motor, Electrical energy is converted into mechanical energy which in turn is converted into kinetic energy. In the Pneumatic system, the working fluid is a gas which is compressed above atmospheric pressure to impact impart pressure energy to the molecules, such that pneumatic piston move front and back cause transverse motion which in turn is converted into kinetic energy by crank and chain mechanism. However that is true, and the compressed air operated car, as it is popularly known, has caught the attention of researchers worldwide. It has zero emissions and is ideal for city driving conditions every automotive industry is looking to reduce the weight of the vehicle as it helps in the better handling of the vehicle and increases the efficiency of the vehicle. Today, the heavy vehicles are known for producing a large amount of harmful gases like CO2, SO2 etc. Although it seems to be an environmentally-friendly solution, one must consider its well to wheel efficiency. The electricity requirement for compressing air has to be considered while computing overall efficiency. This paper work deals with the Compressed-air vehicle as a pneumatic actuator that converts one form of energy into another. The Air Driven Vehicle is an eco-friendly vehicle which operates with compressed air. This Vehicle uses the expansion of compressed air to drive the pistons of the vehicle. An Air Driven Vehicle is a pneumatic actuator that creates useful work by expanding compressed air. There is no mixing of fuel with air as there is no combustion. An Air Driven Vehicle makes use of Compressed Air Technology for its operation The Compressed Air Technology is quite simple. If we compress normal air into a cylinder the air would hold some energy within it. This energy can be utilized for useful purposes. When this compressed air expands, the energy is released to do work. So this energy in compressed air can also be utilized to displace a piston. Compressed air propulsion may also be incorporated in hybrid systems, e.g., battery electric propulsion and fuel tanks to recharge the batteries. This kind of system is called hybrid-pneumatic electric propulsion. Additionally, regenerative braking can also be used in conjunction with this system.
