The research carried out by shows that the social capital of high school has a stronger impact on the enrolment into a first-choice programme of study than the socio-economic status of the student which affirms the Colemanʼs theory of social mobility On the other hand, numerous studies in Croatia mostly find that the socio-economic status is the strongest predictor of educational success on higher educational level which confirms Bourdieuʼs theory of social reproduction. Assuming that the research results are highly dependent on the research context and sample used it is considered necessary to verify Rogošićʼs findings. For establishing confidence in research findings Rogošićʼs research is replicated using empirical generalization in which the sample was intentionally altered and the research procedures of original study are closely followed. A sample of the repeated study included students in the programme of study Early and Preschool Education at the Faculty of Teacher Education of the University of Zagreb (N=400). The results of the repeated research do not support the theory of social mobility which shows that the findings highly depend on the sample characteristics and contextual factors. The paper clarifies the differences in findings between the repeated and the original study and provides conclusions that can be drawn from the two sets of findings. , http://www.euroasiapub.org (An open access scholarly, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary, monthly, and fully refereed journal.) 594 important factor in academic achievement at the level of higher education, and has far-reaching consequences related to work-place efficacy, the probability of enrolment into first choice programme of study in Croatian context should be more researched. , http://www.euroasiapub.org (An open access scholarly, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary, monthly, and fully refereed journal.) A Procession is when number of people or vehicles moving forward in an orderly fashion, who are all walking or travelling in the same direction, especially in a formal way as part of a religious ceremony or public celebration. My project will be based on a Procession which I witnessed on 26th of January 2017, and would like to name it as " Patriotic Peace Procession " as per my sociological point of view. It's patriotic because of the day chosen, peace because the Muslims who took out a procession wanted to deliver something to the audience about their nationality and wanted to show that this is not just a Republic Day but like a Festival to them as well which one should celebrate. It was a Public procession as the procession was organized by Madrasa (" Madrassa E Ahmede Mustafa ") and with other funds. The Procession was for Republic Day but the procession was not an ordinary Republic day celebration as the Procession was out by Muslim Community of Vadodara only. The procession included most of the Students from Madrasa and other Muslim students and members of Madrasa irrespective of the sex. The procession included more than 300 plus people including students who participated in the procession. All were well dress and the Madrasa students were wearing their uniform with the national flag in their hands. The background was full of patriotic songs. The procession was till a specific place where the Flag Hosting was to be held and all collected there and sang the National Anthem. This is was just the highlights of the procession I will discuss the procession in detail in my final project. My final project will contain the analyzes the procession from a Sociological point of view, keeping in mind " Urban Sociology " and the project will also give relevant reason for the name of the procession which I have chosen. Please see the photos attached to this Proposal that will show the richness of the Procession which I want to explore more.
